Good Food and Nice priced Drinks. I love coming here on the weekends for Dinner and Karaoke in the bar. The food Awesome and good priced!! If you are looking for inexpensive fun on the weekends this is the place to go! I love the Chimichangas.

great food, great service, but . . .. My husband and I have been dining here for ages, love the place. However, we went there recently with our 6 month old baby and tried to use a high chair. They had ten available and every single one of them was broken in some fashion and dirty/sticky. Just sayin . . .it left a very negative impression!

Better than I remember..... Something must have changed at this place, it is much better than I remember from years ago. The service is excellent the staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is excellent, best fajitas in town! Reasonable prices, my family will be back again!

Best in the Couv.... I have been going to El Prez for as long as I can remember. The staff...especially Mario, is the best in Vancouver. They are always very accomodating and the food is great. I especially love lunchtime and the quesadillas.

If you live or work in the downtown area, I would highly reccommend dropping by to see them...oh & don't forget the conzuela!

Charging me for another bill?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. They charged me for another party's bill and charged me for mine! To top it off they won't fix it..So if you decide to go there than make sure to check your account to be sure they don't do that to you.

Great Food!. This was only my second time visiting El Presidente. As I mentioned before, we were a bit hesitant to visit this restaurant based on previous reviews, but are so glad we did. I had the Steak Presidente and my wife had the tacos, both came out perfectly cooked and the service was also fantastic. We will be back again!

El Presidente - maybe if HOOVER was president. We tried this for the first time this evening. We waited quite a while to be sat down. The place was not really all that clean and filled with a bunch of loud white trash folks. The service was pretty bad. It took 25 minutes to get a diet coke and Sangria (which was the worst I've ever had). The food was awful, and had no taste. The chips tasted like dirty cooking oil. All in all I would NEVER recommend this to anyone.

Something has changed here, and not for the better. We have been going to this restaurant for years, however over the past six months it has been rapidly decling. Food is not as good, staff is very hard to find, prices are up and overall cleanliness is not what it used to be. We loved going there, but will not be back until we hear it has gotten better. What happened?

Dirty Dishes. I visited this resteraunt while I was in VanCouver over the holiday, I was not impressed at all. My drink glass was full of greasy fingerprints so I went to get another one and got more of the same. The food was nothing special, my Chile Relleno was bitter and my picodillo was tough. I got a bad case of heartburn from the meal and was up most the night on the toilet. I thought the staff was friendly but they did not seem to understand me even when I spoke in Spanish so it made it difficult to order rmy food. They need to change the hideous carpeting too as well as get a better dishwasher. Also the salt they used to rim my glass was yellowed in places possibly a dirty and/or contaminated rim-wetting sponge, at any rate, I was very disappointed.
