it's ok. the food is ok. the selection was somewhat limited compared to the newest asian buffet restaurant on SE 164th on the east side. the lighting inside makes the place look really old and could be changed to energy efficient lighting.

if you are looking for value, then this is something you should try. but if you want to go into a place that has an upgraded look as well as great food. ( you will have to pay more) then the asian buffet restaurant on SE 164th is where you want to go.

Best asian food in Vancouver. I have tried all the Chineese restaurants in Vancouver, and this is the best. I actually live just a few blocks away from another very good Chinese buffet, but will drive the extra miles for this one. The food is always excellent, and the service is great. I love their hot and sour soup, and they have a great seafood salad. Actually, I have yet to try anything I haven't liked. I read another review that said Kings was better, but although I really like Kings, this place is just a notch above. Not for the neighborhood, or the decor, but for the food, which is why I'm there. The parking can be a problem in front of the restaurant during busy times such as lunch, but they have parking across the street, so don't let it stop you.

Frseh, Consistent, Fast Courteous Service, VERY clean, Food is Tasty and HOT.. The Titles says it ALL. Can't think of anything they need to improve. Oh, and the price is REDICULOUSLY CHEAP for what you get !

Come HUNGRY and you'll think ya died and went to heaven ... ya'll leave smiling.

Wear an elastic waistband. You'll be surrounded by what you'll look like if ya eat there too much :)

best wonton soup in the area! The rest isn't bad either.. Read all the reviews and tried it for ourselves. Been twice and both times we were welcomed warmly and made to feel comfortable. The food is freshly prepared, appealingly displayed and hot. The buffet area is kept well stocked and clean. We especially liked the won ton soup. The broth is superb and the won tons plump. The barbequed pork-char sui-is subtly flavored and very good. Our stacks of empty plates were whisked away quickly and quietly. Extra napkins were discretely supplied.

Our friends who came with us for our second visit loved it. They have been to over 270 countries each and one said it was the best Chinese buffet she's ever had.

Overall, there is a very friendly ambience that is genuine.

We'll be back again and again.

Yaaaawn...what's the big deal?. I don't understand what is so special about this place. It's just another mediocrea Chinese buffet. The food tastes fine and is edible, but's it's not any better than anywhere else. Personally, I prefer the King's Buffet. It's in a nicer neighbrohood, has more selection, and slightly fresher food. Also, the crowd is more classy. Why this is voted the top 100 chinese restaurant...I don't know. Maybe there are only 100 chinese restaurants and it's #95? Who knows...

Taste of Asia beats any teriyaki restaurants in all of Vancouver.. I love teriyaki but trying to find not overcooked noodles, actual meat and fresh selection in the Vancouver area is slim pickings. I'd about given up until my husband found Taste of Asia. The food is fresh and well made, extremely tasty and most important, consistent! The service is refreshing friendly and aware of customers wants without having been asked. It's a definite "Oh My Happy Tummy" for us. We come hungry and leave happy and full every time!

Great Asian buffet, excellent customer service. Incomparable customer service. Buffet was fresh and plenty to choose from. Avoid going during noon time as the parking lot is small and it gets crowded at these times. Comfortable atmosphere. The restaurant is sparkling clean and the buffet is always well stocked and sanitary. There's a salad and fruit bar also. I can't say enough about this place. Awesome.

Above average Chinese Restaurant. When it comes to dinning, i have a very high expectation. Though Taste of asia didn't meet my expectation, but it does pretty well with that price. Lunch at 6.75 Dinner 9.99

I would say they can do a little better by providing better parking, nicer interior design.

One of my favorite places at Vancouver. One of my favorite places at Vancouver. The food is wonderful and the service is no where near. . The Triple mushroom beef is a must for me and they have some of the best general tso chicken in town. . They have great Sushi too.You can even make your own salad off their fresh vegetable section. Great place for family with kids Thumbs up from me!

Good food!!!!!!!!!!!!. I read all the reviews and was excited to try taste of aisa. I love Chinese food, and their General Tso chicekn, sesame beef here are very good. . I had famous oyster, green beans, and some crab legs that was pretty good. I probably will return here again because i haven't try everything yet.

Service is excellent there, i've never been to a chinese restaurant with such great service.
