Unresponsive and dysfunctional.
So, this shop was recommeded to me by a family member for my centerpieces in an upcoming wedding reception. Originally, my fiance and I were going to DIY our flowers, but we decided to check prices, just to see what was out there. My mother had already checked with her about our original design to obtain a quote, and so I put together two more for Carol, so we would have more options. Upon calling, I was able to get an email address, and scheduled an appointment for a consulation when we were next in town (I am planning from out of town). That weekend, I put together the additional designs and emailed it to her. This was April 25th.
After not receiving a phone call or email back after 1 - 1 1/2 weeks, I called the shop at various times, leaving my name, number and a short message with either her or her assistant, and never received a call back. Eventually, I talked to her the week before Mother's Day, and she agreed to email me the day after the holiday, since she was so busy at the time. Fair enough, and I hoped that the service would improve after the holiday. It didn't. Monday came and went, and I called later in the week, left a message with her assistant as she was with a client, and never heard back from her. So, I called again on Saturday, at which point she claimed to have not received my email. I re-verified the address, and resent, and was disconnected from her (not sure if she knew how to use her phone, as this happened another time as well). I called again on Monday, and talked to her assistant, who acknowledged the email, and even stated that he printed it out. However, the appointment I had booked with Carol wouldn't work, as they aren't open on Sundays....even though she told me the date was fine. So I rescheduled for Saturday, and waited to hear back from her. In the latter part of the week, I called again, and she started asking about my budget and colors.....and so I brought up the designs I had sent over. At which point she finally found the email (after not being able to find it again, and supposedly having it printed out earlier), and read it for the first time 3 weeks after I had originally sent it. She supposedly put it in her "priority" pile, and promised to send an email with the quotes for the two designs.
It has now been over a month since I first sent that email, and I have yet to obtain quotes from her for the two designs, which were complete with the names of the flowers, substitutions, and number of flowers per vase. I even checked to make sure everything would be in season. Suffice it to say, I cancelled my consultation, and am taking my business elsewhere. Upon emailing other florists, one vendor got back to me within 10 minutes with quotes and options for delivery.

Cannot schedule appointments correctly

Cannot use email system correctly
Service. The plant they delivered for Mother's Day was left outside my house. It was not what my son ordered and was not to my likes. The clerk refused to exchange it and was uncooperative.
