I was aware at this hotel and because the price was interesting, I booked three days in the short term. The classic double room was furnished with 30 m2 in size and quite nice. It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at SweetHotelDeals.us They usually have some pretty good deals on there!

Motel? Kennel? Halfway house? YOU be the judge!!. I stayed for a week at Kays Motel. The experience was anything but pleasant! The first day I walked into the front office I was hit with the stench of a kennel! Someone wasnt keeping their kitty litter changed! The next morning as I was drying off after taking a shower I noticed that the towels wreaked of the same stench! About 2 in the morning the following night my "neighbors" got into a HUGE fight! One guy staying there was arrested. The next morning the manager told me he was just released from jail and was on probation. Later I learned that several other tennants staying there were also fresh out of jail. Several of the rooms had 3 to 4 people staying in them in spite of the fact each room only had 1 bed and no more than 2 people were allowed per room! On my final day as I was packing I discovered that roaches had nested in my jacket that had been hanging in the closet. Kays Motel may be the most inexpensive motel in Vancouver but u end up paying the difference one way or the other. If u must stay at Kays I recommend that you bring your own towels, keep your door locked at all times, take a deep breath before entering the front office and dont forget a can of raid! How this place managed to stay open after health inspections Ill NEVER know!
