Superb Service. Being new to the area I found the Appliance Clinic on line for repair of our stove door. I received a call from the company with a 2 hour time frame that their technician was to show up the following day. Within that time frame I got a call from Steve, the technician, saying he would be at the home within 1/2 hour. He arrived and went straight to it and had the oven door repaired as good as new. He tested the oven to assure that everything was working correctly and then stated the charge would only be for the service call and as long as he was there he would look at our other appliances if there were any issues of concern. I asked him a question about our washing machine and he gave me valuable information that answered my concerns. There was no additonal charge. Steve stated he had been with the company 30+ years and was friendly, timely and courteous. He gained a new customer and I would recommend their shop to anyone! Great Job!!!
RUN F- Rating 0 stars for you..
LADIE ORDERED PART SAYS WILL BE HERE MONDAY HERE IS PART ORDER NUMBER SAYS BRING IN AND THEY CAN PULL UP THE ORDER.
WELL COME IN PLAY DUMB SAYS THEY DONT HAVE PART BUT COULD ORDER IT. BROKEN RECORD. SO WAIT ANOTHER 3 DAYS AND PLAY THE SAME OF RUN AROUND. I GUESS THEY THINK WE ALL HAVE TIME TO BLOW TO COME VISIT THEM AND LEAVE WITHOUT PARTS TO FIX MY FRIDGE.
POOR POOR OH SO POOR SERVICE.
FYI.
I needed a handle for my washing machine and called to order it over the phone. I specified the color but when I arrived to pick it up, it was another color and it was suggested to me that the piece was the correct color. When we looked it up online from their source, we found the right color. The cost to me there was almost $20 more than what I later found it for from another source (this was for a $23 part). The counter people were not warm in manner. I was, however, helped to solve an installation problem very nicely by another person.
I have mixed feelings about the experience and am putting the facts out there for others to know.
The Best.
Great service as always. Yesterday they came to repair a microhood. They had already ordered the part and had it on hand. When the repairman looked at the microhood he said "I'll bet this part is under warranty", made a quick phone called, and saved me the $200 for the part. I was only billed for the service call.
I had already tried to get Sears, whom I bought the microhood from to repair it. I had ordered the part from them, they sent the totally wrong thing, billed me for it without telling me it was under warranty. I sent it back and am still waiting for a refund.
Lesson learned, I should have used the local business to start with.
