It's A Crewel World-Among

It a Crewel World. I love this shop!!! It changed owners in April 2010 and has seen many changes and there are still some to come. You may notice the name does not match what is being carried and this is because the old owner had moved away from the needle point and crewel stuff do to lack of interest and sales. The new owner has followed on with this. I enjoy needlepoint also, but even some of the large chains have stopped carrying it, and as they told me it is due to lack of sales. Changes regarding signs are surely coming. I have always crouchet, but just started knitting in April thanks to Jennifer the owner and I love it! I refer to the shop as my happy place!! You can come and always find a smile and free help! The yarn selection is amazing!!!! I truly love this place and think you should come and see for yourself how amazing the environment is within shop. Social knitting on Thursdays is free and so much fun, I Iook forward to it all week!!!!!! But you do not need to wait for Thursday to come in and knit, there are always people sitting in knitting when I go there.  View Less … View More
