These people are awesome. Yes, they cater to bikers, but I'm an old woman, not a biker, and they treated me SO well, did the minor repair I needed, and then tried to not charge me! Don't get me wrong, they aren't a charitable institution, but very fair, and they do excellent work.

Order History. I to have been a customer of Stewarts for some time now. Stewarts sells a myriad of products ranging from the budget minded to the top end.

I purchased a vest approx 2 years ago, and although spendy, I have yet to find any thing of similar quality. Very, very good is an understatement.

However, I to have special order numerous leather goods from Laura and to date, she has yet to keep a "promise" date on any of them. Same as the other reviewer, I go in on the date promised and subsequent dates and the special order hasn't even been started. Again with more "promise dates" and the usual apology.

Also, I have had one experience of the price of the special order being increased with the same explanation as the other reviewer. It was harder to do than anticipated. A phone call to verify the new price and expected date of finish would have been nice.

Again though, the quality exceeded my expectations on the special orders so I paid for them anyway.

Shop seems to be running on auto pilot so expect a delay in special orders and possibly a price increase. But also expect the quality to be above reproach.

Stewart Leather's is a great Business.. This is a man that is bitter over a Divorse.

Laura deBonneville is his ex mother in-law.

I have been a customer for more than 10 year's +.

And i was at that iron horse motorcycle rally that day .I can verifi that in deed John Dempster did get a free Leather jacket that day from Laura deBonneville owner of Stewart Leather's. Natalie .O

J Dempster's comments are false and canbe verified in Contra Costa County Superior court case # D05 05324 Divorse Settlement. He wrote off all rights to Custom Leather Jacket to be made by my mother in return for cash credit in divorce settlement. Thus relinquishing Stewart Leathers from any obligation. Laura deBonneville gave him a a jacket because that is just how she is.

Great place for custom leather work.. I had the back of my leather motorcycle jacket inlayed with red roses, and green leaves. Laura did a wonderful job of inlaying leather red roses with green leaves into my jacket. And even came over the shoulders with them, giving my plain black leather jacket a finsihed femine look to it. Just what I was looking for.

It turned out great and I will be returning to have more work done on my husbands leathers. She is great and willing to make you a happy return customer. She had it done in less than two weeks.
