The Only Place for Chinese in Vancouver

Vancouver and Clark County are the Sahara of cuisine which is why I go back to Great Wall. It doesn't have much personality, but the food is excellent and a great value, especially if you try the Family Meals, which you'll have the next day for lunch and possibly dinner.

Kung Pao anything, potstickers and some pretty good hot and sour.

• Pros: Good food, fast pick-up, reliable
• Cons: Definitely not first date atmosphere.

For the Food

What the Great Wall lacks in ambiance it makes up for in food quality & quantity. Dishes are authentic and well prepared. Quality appears consistent in the times we have eaten here. The restaurant itself is a 'strip mall' type place that could use an update. However if you go there to eat you will not be dissapointed. Good menu selection given the size of the establishment. Staffing is a little limited during peak times which can hurt service quality.

• Pros: Good Value, Good Parking, Authentic
• Cons: Ambiance
