Tips for 22 Changes

August 08, 2012

I have been seeing Cara B. for a couple of years now. She is an amazing colorist and I have never been disappointed.

The last time I called to schedule an appointment with Cara, I was told she was no longer with them. I was told I could make an appointment with another stylist, but no thank you! After calling around, I tracked her down! Cara B. is now at Visible Changes salon in Vancouver.

FABULOUS spa for a facial and more!. I LOVE this spa. Caramarie gives the best facials I have ever had. They are so relaxing and peaceful---she is very knowledgeable and helped me through some skin issues. I feel so pampered every time I see her. EVERY time I go there I am treated so well. Everyone is very professional and very friendly yet they maintain a very quiet atmosphere. It is very clean and warm and inviting. They keep my purse in a locked room while I am there and they offer the most wonderful robes to use while there. Besides getting facials / brow and chin waxes regularly- I have had massages, pedicures, and used their sauna. All of which have been delightful experiences. I will not go anywhere else for these services. I highly recommend them! I always feel like I get my money's worth and then some...........

Great Spa/Salon. Can hardly tell from the outside but worth a trip or I should say appointment in. Once inside you forget you are surrounded by people and traffic. They treat you well and make you a priority. I had my hair done, a facial, and a brow wax and tint. I recently went back to get a massage and decided to get a manicure and this is what made me finally write a review. Excellent service and quality work! This will be my place I choose to spend my time and money- taking care of myself! Thank you 22 Changes staff.

Best Colorist I've ever had!. I've had my brunette hair colored in some way for over 20 years, and NEVER had such a knowledgeable color expert work on my hair. Cara B. is an artist; quick and precise, and very accurate with tones that will work well on your hair and compliment your skin tones. I am graying, so time to make the switch to blonde. Over the past 6 months, she has taken me to a beautiful medium blonde that looks so natural. I get compliments all the time. The hair salon is nice, clean and on the upscale side. The women are genuinely friendly and take good care of you from the moment you check in, and make sure you are happy with your service. I love their referral program, too. I have been telling everyone about this salon. They are great!

READ ME! product markup is crazy. They should be ashamed.. Very friendly staff. I purchased a babyliss nano iron and the babyliss hair dryer that the stylists use. I was very excited and thought the price was well worth the amazing job that the blowdryer and iron did on my hair. I bought the iron for 220 dollars and the blowdryer for 99. I spent money I didn't have because I never do that for myself and the manager or owner was telling me what a great deal it was. I excitedly (with a sick feeling that I was spending so much) went home with my new products. When I got home (because I felt so sick of the money I just spent) I decided to look and see how much I could get the same items from amazon. I checked several sites and felt disgusted at the difference in price. I immediately took back the items and then bought the blow dryer from amazon for $30 and the iron for $79! YES, they were the exact same items. They are ripping people off purposefully. They should be absolutely ashamed of themselves marking products up so drastically. I can understand a markup. They need to make money.. but marking up an iron they probably got at cost for $50 to $220 is shameful. I not only will NEVER go back there for any treatment or products, but also I make sure to tell everyone that I know and anyone that mentions they are going to go there about the deceitful and greedy business deals they make. Very disappointed that someone (management/ownership) could feel remotely OK with this kind of deceit/fraud. I have lived in Vancouver my entire life. I know a lot of people and I will make sure that I tell everyone about this. I will post it on my Facebook and myspace about my personal experience. I suggest anyone who has had a similar experience do the same.

Amazing!!. Every time Amanda cuts my hair I get nothing but compliments from everyone and anyone about my hair! I have never had my hair noticed before Amanda became my stylist. Now I get nothing but rave reviews from friends and strangers alike. I cannot say enough about her! Get your hair done by a magician! Kara does my eyebrows and she is wonderful too! I love this place!

I Love My Hair. I needed to have a color and haircut update and both the colorist and hair stylist met with me and help me to decide what would look good. I feel years younger and all my friends thought it was the best look I ever had.

Thanks to the team at 22 Changes

I never felt so great!. I had a cut with Amanda at 22 changes recently! I never write reviews- but I cannot stop raving about how awesome I look and feel! The girl on the phone from the very first call was so sweet. I arrived early and was taken back right away. The place just had a great vibe! And I still look good because she gave me tips on styling too! I reccomend her to anyone!

terrible!. 1. they didn't schedule enough time for my service

2. My stylist LEFT FOR LUNCH while I sat under the dryer with color on my hair.

3. the color came out GRAY

4. the girl that tried to wash and style my hair seemed untrained...I ended up leaving with my hair wet.

5. They flat out ignored attempts I have made to request a refund.

6. Out of the 30 yrs I have been going to salons this is the first time I have asked for my money back and hands down the worst experience.

Go here!!!. I made my first color apointment here and had a perfect expierience. I hadn't had my hair done in over a year and had dyed BLACK box color over multiple colors. When i called to make the apointment and asked how long it would take, rathar than quote me something they couldn't be sure about, they asked me to stop in to have a quick look at my hair. I was thrilled that they wanted to check it out before they promised me anything. The day of my apointment it was important for me to be out of there by a certain time. I had intentions to go lighter and eventually (with multiple apointments) go to a light blonde. They got my hair to almost blonde (which I didn't think possible yet!) and did a cut that made my hair seem so much thicker. AND they got me out of there 15 minutes early!!! I have been so frusterated by other salons and I'm so glad 22 changes was able to make me feel comfortable and cared about. They really listen to you and do a fabulous job!
