That little old town movie theater experience. So much nicer than the big flashing in your face joints.

Just went to a movie here, and it was so cold, I had to leave before it was over. The gentleman working said-oh, ya the heat got turned off...sorry. I usually enjoy going to movies at the Lake Twin, but next time will ask if the heat is on.

LOVE IT!. I grew up going to this place. I love the small feeling and it's going to this place now... it just reminds me of being a child.

Great Little Movie Theater!. There is something really wonderful about a small theater, like we had in the "old days" before the giant mega multi screen theaters. Hate long lines? You'll love the Lake Twin, then. Don't like the mega malls and parking structures? Want friendly neighborhood service from nice people? You'll love this charming theater as much as our family does.

Have dinner at one of the great local restaurants, walk along the bay on the lake, then take in one of their first run movies. Grab a tub of their fresh popcorn served to you by smiling staff, and enjoy a nice evening in Lake O at this special theater.

I've grown weary of the big, noisy, high volume mega theaters. This is WAY better!

Charming Theatre with Great Popcorn. Since renovating in 1996 after the flood, this local theatre has improved in many ways. The movies are first run, with an admission price that's hard to bead anywhere else. Their popcorn is better than most theatre popcorns and more reasonably priced too. They will even let you bring in your Starbucks coffee from across the street. Lake Oswego lots of interesting shops and great restaurants to choose from all within a few blocks of the theatre.

The person complaining about the seats is probably used to stadium seating with lounge chairs, and if you're looking for that, feel free to pay twice as much to see your movie somewhere else. The seating is from the historic Fox Theatre that used to be in downtown Portland. A lot of work went into restoring and installing those seats to keep the historic nature of the Lake intact. They're a lot more comfortable than they used to be!

I used to come here as a teenager and still bring my family in today.

Great theater for the money. This theater is great for the money. Although people have mentioned it's age and uncomfortable seats... they should know that this theater was completely overhauled in mid-90s following the flooding that damaged the theater.

For those of us that remember the 2 movies for $1 on Tuesdays - we can all tell you the theater has been MUCH improved since those days. And with that, the pricing went up and they have made efforts to get big name movies in there and new releases as well.

Besides, you have to love a theater with a boat parking area!!

Good neighborhood theater.. I love this theater. It's small, personal, and very convenient. No lines, etc. There are many good restaurants nearby.

Fun neighborhood theatre. Contrary to what another reviewer said, this is NOT a second run theatre, though with only two screens the amount of new releases are limited. As such, it is NOT overpriced but standard within the region.

You can take kids, you can drive, walk, or boat there, and you can eat and drink at any number of restaurants before or after your movie... this is a great neighborhood place, and a great date night destination on a nice evening (if you're lucky, sans kids).
