One of the most intensely meat-centric new restaurants on the East Coast, the formula here is multiple sources, straight up cooking, and aggressive, smart seasoning. I love it.

Laurelhurst remains a Portland institution for its marriage of cult movie classics and craft beer. Sip pints of Burnside Oatmeal Pale while watching Kevin Bacon run from tremors on the big screen. Make sure to arrive earlier than you would at other theaters: the concessions/bar line can get quite long.

They already had me at $4 general admission and $3 matinees, but then I saw the menu at this popular Burnside “theater and pub.” Fresh pizza, salads and wraps by their NE Portland sister restaurant, pitchers of beer, $6 pint ‘n popcorn special…yes, please!

Great second-run theater that often shows vintage films and free screenings of political events (like debates and elections). Beer and wine available.
GREAT DRINKS, GREAT MOVIES!. I took my girlfriend here on a date because I found that they have the best movie selection compared to the other theater-pubs in the Portland area. We saw City of Gods, which was an excellent choice. The beer prices were good and movie prices were unbeatable! They also offer Pizzicato by the slice for anyone who wants a bite to eat before or during the movie. This is definitely among the short list of my favorite places.
Best Reason to Live in Portland. There are pros and cons for every city. The biggest con for Portland is the constant rain. The Laurelhurst is the way to stay dry and smile while doing it. Great, cheap movies accompanied by amazing Oregon beer. These theaters (led by this one) really define who Portland is. I have gone back several times and agree with other reviewers - no kids screaming, friendly people and low-budget flicks - Laurelhurst has it all!!!
Fantastic!. Best theaterpub in town. Very comfortable seating with excellent food.
Best in town. This is the best theatre in town... Beer, pizza, cheap movies, old movies. My favorite place in Portland.
Love the Laurelhurst. What a bargain! The seats here are way more comfy than your average theater, and there aren't the crowds that you'll find at other theater pubs. With cheap admission, pizza and beer, and you can't go wrong.
