In Short
This arena used to house the great Blazer teams, but with the gleaming Rose Garden next door, Memorial Coliseum and her trademark smoked-glass shell have been reduced to the status of a second-rate arena. Memorial still houses some pretty good events like most of the Winter Hawks games, an occasional Portland State basketball game and rock concerts that are too rowdy for the Rose Garden.
