In Short – Newmark Theatre (formerly called the Intermediate Theatre) is a 916-seat theater designed to emulate Europe's Edwardian-style theaters. It is elegant, intimate, and no seat in the theater is farther than 65 feet from the stage. Located in the New Theatre Building, the Newmark is part of the Portland Center for the Performing Arts, which also includes Keller Auditorium, Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall and Dolores Winningstad Theatre.

A nice theater but while attending a performance by Oregon Children's Theater, an elderly usher went off on a lady for silently texting a message 20 minutes before the performance began. Screaming at the top of his lungs while completely scaring the young children. Clearly the Newmark hasn't done their homework regarding background checks. Probably a great place for adult performances but I would think twice before allowing children witness the display of unstable employees.
- Pros: NIcely Located
