In Short – If you live in SW Portland, you're not far from the nearly 100-acre plot of land that comprises Gabriel Park. Tennis, anyone? There are eight lighted courts to get your game on. Or run around the volleyball, baseball and soccer fields. Bring the pooch, too, because Gabriel Park offers one of the city's designated off-leash areas, complete with poop bags and volunteer-filled water bowls.

Gabriel Park is Portlands hottest spot to see and be seen. As long as your a dog. With 5 to 6 water bowels to lap from and a bucket of endless tennis balls to nibble on how can you go wrong. And don't worry this park won't put a dent in your owners pocket cause its FREE!! Its the best place in town to shed your leash and strech your hind legs. The scenery isn't bad either! What with no less than 30 other friends to meet and sniff. Breeds of all kinds gather to fro"lick" and play at Gabriel Park.
- Pros: availble parking, tennis courts, free
- Cons: litte hard to find
