In Short – In addition to the posh lofts, the Pearl District is home to a myriad of terrific shops, restaurants, bars and boutiques. While businesses cater to the area's well-heeled residents, plenty of out-of-district shoppers and diners also frequent the area. Many of the stores feature upscale home furnishings, both contemporary and antique. The area also features a high concentration of art galleries and artist lofts. And there are plenty of good eats and clubs.

How Much For That Pearl

by qualityseeker14

Well, I have been to the Pearl District businesses and what a high price for such a usual product. The neighborhood is a renovated warehouse district...old crusty buildings with a "new" look. I had one really good meal at Oba and a really ordinary one at Blue Hour. Blue Hour should be ashamed to charge the prices that they charged. The boutiques were rather ordinary, and again, overpriced. I am looking for a new neighborhood to haunt, and I encourage all to follow.
