I stayed at this motel last weekend. it
was horrible. the floors looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in ages, the bed covers were dirty, there was no outlet in the bathroom to plug in a hairdryer or anything else and the only mirror was the mirror above the bathroom sink.
When you check in the sign says NO REFUNDS, that should have been a clue because after you see the room you want your money back. I stayed there because it was close to OHSU where i had a family member in the ICU department.
My brother stayed ther as well in a different room. his was a little better than mine, it had a microwave and a fridge, mine just had a fridge. oh and the TV's didn't have remotes. really? remotes? how much do those cost $2? I called down and told them my remote was missing and they said it wasn't. I looked everywhere and my brother did the same in his room and there was definitely not a remote.
they don't even leave an extra toilet paper roll in the bathroom. I ran out and called the front desk and they told me, their housekeeper wasn't there but she should be in a few hours and they will have her bring me a roll. can you belive that? they said the same thing when i asked for towels. this place is horrible, not to mention it was $85 a night. do yourself a favor and go down the street to a different hotel. oh and did i mention that there were people doing HERION in the room next to my brother? they didn't even bother to close the drapes, they just would shoot up and pass out, disgusting!
No-frills accommodation in an excellent location..
In Short
Though the motel itself is fairly unremarkable, it is in an excellent location: The southern edge of downtown is quiet and convenient. Many of the guests here are visiting Portland State University (across the street) or the nearby Oregon Health Sciences University Hospital. The 29 units offers just the basics: cable and a private bath. The building is on a busy street, but traffic usually dies down at night.
