BEAUTIFUL. What else can be said about the tourist attraction? It is a great place to connect with nature and see a magnificent waterfall from different perspectives. There are multiple hiking trails ranging from .5 mile to almost 7 miles! Be prepared with food and water if you plan on going the long trip. Wear durable hiking shoes and take into account the elevation change as you get to the top of the falls.

A Site To See!!!. The Falls are an awesome site to see. Well worth the trip to go see them. I highly recommend seeing it.

more than breathtaking. This is my favorite spot on the planet so far. Take in lunch at the Lodge. The weather is almost always gorgeous!

Gorge-eous. Great place, as of October 2002 the remodling and construction were done so there is now a wonderfull new all abilities acsess to the veiwing platform.

A must see, 45 min from downtown.

Locals go again and again and its a sure hit with out of town visitors.

Wow....... This attraction is well worth the short drive from Portland. However, the view from the top of the falls is NOT worth the mile hike up the mountain in my opinion. If you're into that sort of thing then it may be a lot of fun to hike their trails(and I hear that there are some REALLY pretty falls higher up). It's still worth the drive though!

Beauty is a step away!. The breathtaking slendor of multnomah Falls is a short 30 minute drive from downtown Portland. Whether it is a sunny day or gray, the falls are gorgeous. If you have time, I highly recommend hiking the trail to the top of the falls. There are benches along the way to stop, catch your breath and take in the views. For the seasoned hiker, stop in the gift shop and pick up a trail map. There are several trails of varying length around the falls.

BEAUTIFUL!!!. This is a beautiful place all year long. Hiking is great and the view is spectacular. I love to go hiking here as this is some place that you can do this by yourself. There are generally enough people around that I feel this is a safe place to hike alone. I think this is a good representation of Oregon's beautiful outdoors.

Annual Trek. A hike up to the top of Multnomah Falls was the first date for my boyfriend and me. We live in Washington and decided to make a trip down south to see what Oregon had to offer. When we arrived we were very amazed at the colors of the leaves and the beauty of the falls. After our first hike together (ever) up to the top, we stood in awe. I have to say that the trek was well worth it, and due to how much fun we had we have made a pack to go back every year and do the hike to once again kiss at the top and fall in love.
