Beautiful selection. The hardest part about shopping at Tumbleweed was deciding which dress to buy! The selection, fabric, and craftsmanship were excellent, and the service was very helpful but not overwhelming. The dresses are extremely flattering, and would work for a variety of shapes and sizes. If you are also looking for a way to support local fashion designers, I would head here.

this boutique rocks. Go here and expect to find some of the most beautiful dresses you won't see everywhere else. That's because the owner also designs many of the dresses you'll find mixed in with the other lines. All mingle effortlessly and beautifully. This staff is like having your own personal stylist. They're seem to really get into helping you find the perfect fit and usually know the store content so well they run for options and even dig through the sale bin if it means finding something that works just for you. I'm tall and not your sample size and find it extremely satisfying to shop here because I consistently find dresses and pants that are long enough and that fit me well.

gorgeous clothes!!!. this store is the best find ever- all the most beautiful things in one place, with no pushy sales people rushing you!

i have found everything from a dress for my brother's wedding to my favorite jeans i wear everyday here. how many stores can do that?!

Fashion maven Kara Larson has created quite a name for herself in P-town, and her Alberta shop serves as her clothing company's main outpost. The store attracts hip mamas with their sharp-dressed little ones. Each dress is custom-made with its own combination of fabrics and trims. The kids' line, Wild Carrots, is made up of miniature versions of the feminine frocks. In addition to the homespun creations, try on sweaters, T-shirts, jeans and accessories.

Quality, warmth, beauty!. If you love the unique in clothing, are willing to spend extra for a few pieces (Nordstrom-level prices), love the energy of entrepreneurship and fashion, you've found a new place to love. The staff were down to earth and not 'salesy', which made my friend and I feel comfortable to stay and try on a lot of clothes.

My only disappointment is with their great taste they'll decide to get into accessories more.

DESPITE WHAT SOME SOURCES SAY, THEY'RE OPEN SUNDAY! :) We thought we'd just be pressing our noses against the window, but lucked out.

emmylew. Hey Tumbleweed rolls and rocks! Fabulous and timeless local made dresses from Kara Larson. Superstar colors and inspiring lines. Plus a wealth of other from rockin jeans, t shirts, frocks and other garb that is one of a kind and top notch.. Makes me want to live in the store!! Add to that I feel great after being here. Handy and honest friendly lasses in this store. I'll be back!

Really fun store. If you love dresses, this is the place to go! Really cool dresses that you can just throw on and feel like a girly girl..... but very easy to wear.

Enjoy! I treat myself to a Kara-line dress every season.

wear more dresses. it's great to see fashion that is home grown right here in portland. high quality too... reminds me of the quality my grandma sewed for me when I was little. keep up the good work, kara!

Dresses that make me slap happy!!. Wow..This store makes a girl feel girlie! The dresses are lovely and the staff is as fun as the designs in the store and truly helpful! I feel and look smashing!

I also loved the cute kids clothes that Kara designs for her store..Wild Carrots..I just bought some cute dresses for my 2 year old niece
