Great fitness center. I've belonged to the Trainers Club for about 4 years now. I used to drive by it everyday and always thought it must be too expensive or too snobby for me. Not the case at all!

I recently figured out that in just the classes I take every month, that if I took them elsewhere and paid per class, I would be paying TWICE what I pay for both my husband and myself in membership. Now thats a deal.

The staff are very professional and really know their stuff - unlike other places who hire folks right out of school who don't have the experience it takes to really know how to work with people.

Anyway, after years of writing the place off, I am happy I took the time to really check it out. Its got a lot to offer - and by the way, for a great massage, ask for Cheryl.  View Less

Wish I'd Found it Earlier. I love this gym! What I especially love are the classes available. I have been to four classes now (would have been to more but my muscles needed a break) and they are all very high quality training, I was surprised. Particularly considering that they are included in membership.

I like that the club also pays attention to so many little details - complimentary coffee, tea, water bottles, lotion, shampoo, conditioner - even Q Tips and mouth wash. Lots of towels, very nice showers and steamroom, even a nice vanity area. High quality machines and a very nice atmosphere. I definitely like the people here, both the trainers and the clientele have been helpful, welcoming, and friendly. I hope to spend a lot more time here in the future.

Have been to other gyms and this one is definitely above par. But what I love the most are the wide variety of classes (Tai Chi, Zumba, Aerobics, Biking, etc, etc). There are dozens of classes per week and I hope to continue attending (though at the moment I'm still sore :D )  View Less

Best gym in SW PDX and Lake Oswego for a basic workout; not snobby. I have worked out here for ten years now. If it wasn't for this gym I'd look like Archie Bunker by now. I am lazy. This gym is so pleasant a place to go though that somehow I manage to drag myself there 3-4 times a week and I stay in decent shape. Not a poser or pickup gym like many others. You would expect a gym in Lake Oswego to be snobby but it is not that way at all. If you are looking for a social club this really isn't it. I guess you could feel that way in their cardio classes (no thanks, I like working out solo).

Easy going cardio upper area with TVs and remote audio via FM transmitters. Free weights as well as Hammer machines and others. Recently added Kettle Bells.  View Less

Cozy Lake Oswego gym with class. Pros: Nice relaxing lighting, small 'loft' feel (tall celings), large showers (private), extremely friendly staff, beautiful art, nice sinks in restroom, coffee bar, nice cozy weight room downstairs, nice and empty during certain times of the day.

Cons: Feel like everyone is "Watching" in the cardio room due to poor availability of space and limited options to put the equipment. People from downstairs constantly walk by the people on the cardio machines so certain areas are a bit akward., 50% of lockers in womens restroom don't work (locks broken), owner keeps the air conditioner turned to 70 in summer so it gets too hot with the high ceilings (despite complaints he won't turn it down.), gets packed by 4:00 pm.  View Less

Best place to get your fitness on. This club is unlike any other in Portland. No noisy, intimidating hard-bodies to make you feel small and out-of-place. The cleanest club I've ever seen, never a wait for equipment, top notch customer service and a wide variety of group classes all make the atmosphere one that makes you feel welcome. Private showers and great trainers help keep me coming back.  View Less View More
