Editorial Review for Laughing Planet Cafe – by Nancy Levenson

In Short
Health-conscious folks line up at the front register to order burritos, quesadillas, and salads made from fresh organic ingredients like whole wheat tortillas, crisp veggies, tofu and chicken. A few minutes later, smiley staff members deliver mouthwatering creations like the Bubba Burrito (brown rice, smoked turkey, corn, Jack cheese, pinto beans and chipotle barbecue sauce) or vegetarian chili--the Planet's soup du jour.

3 Star Rating: Average

My dinner was tasty. A lil over priced for what I got, but I'm willing to pay a lil extra to support local business. Kinda grossed out by someone touching their nasty dreadlocks, then poring my beverage or making my food without washing their hands. The place could be kept a little cleaner, and I would frequent more.

Pros: Tasty food

Cons: Staff could use a lil hygene.

I have been happy customer of Laughing Planet for several years and I usually pay them a weekly visit for lunch or dinner. I recently pleased to learn that Laughing Planet uses many sustainable practices to ensure they are taking care of our planet. On their website it says they use a central location to prp all of their food and get that food from location to location with bio diesel fueled vehicles. They do their best to fill their burritos and bowls with locally grown ingredients including antibiotic free chicken from Washington state. The best thing is they compost all of their leftovers and recycle their waste! All of this and their food is scrumptious. I am a big fan of the Che Guevara burrito. Thanks Laughing Planet for taking care of our Planet and providing us with great food!

Pros: Serving great food while using sustainable practices!
