Wish it were spicier. The lunch buffet's are good here. But I'm disappointed with the food not being very spicy. Indian food is supposed to be spicy!! I liked Swagath a lot when I first started going there for the lunch buffet's, but then I discovered Chennai Masala in Tanasbourne. Chennai Masala is better in my opinion because the food is spicier. :)

Delicious!.
Swagat's lunch buffet rules! It's always plentiful and varied. I've eaten at the one in Beaverton and the one in Northwest Portland. They're both good, but I think the one in Beaverton is spicier... and I like spicy!
There's always a great selection of meat and vegetarian dishes as well as salad and dessert. I'm just sad they don't make the doughnut things for lunch buffet anymore... but the rice pudding is a nice finish.

Good Indian Food, Nice Atmosphere. My boyfriend and I live in West Linn and drive all the way to Hillsboro to go to THIS Swagat. The food has always been good, it has the atmosphere sorely lacked by the one on 109th and is overall a much better experience. This restaurant has also never been busy when we've gone to eat at peak times (Friday/Saturday nights) so we are always seated and served very quickly. Totally worth the drive.
