In Short – Serious coffee hounds get their fix here--and perhaps a nosh, as well--then go on their caffeinated ways. While a modest selection of teas is offered, the focus is on the heady, aromatic, freshly roasted coffee. Thanks to its practice of roasting on the premises, World Cup stands head and shoulders above the average chain coffeehouse. It's also a good place to meet a friend for a bite--it offers a small array of tasty sandwiches and pastries.
I'm not as cool as the guys that work here....

It's true. I'm not as cool as the guys that work at World Cup. I've come to accept it. I'm not a hipster who is aspiring to be a shi**y musician. Just be aware that when you order coffee from one of these guys, you will really be putting them out. It's probably because you're not cool enough either.
- Pros: Coffee
- Cons: Hipsters
Great coffee

The shop is great. Consistently high quality coffee roasted on site without the barista attitude found at Stumptown. Also the atmosphere is great, upscale but comfortable, so you could spend hours here. The free wifi, desserts and sandwiches are a plus as well.
- Cons: Parking sometimes is difficult
Your basic neighborhood coffee shop
by danklus
I have some friends that love this coffee shop, I on the other hand dont see anything special. The atmosphere is boring and the coffee just ok. They do offer a wifi connection and board games which brings in a lot of college students with laptops. By the way the service I have had here is awful. The counter guy was rude and throwing stuff around.
- Pros: close in coffee shop with wireless internet
- Cons: bad service and not so great coffee

If you're ordering a plain cup of joe, get a medium. It's only a few cents more than a small, but comes in a giant, latte-sized cup. Drink it on-site for best flavor--ceramic always tastes better than paper.
