Favorite Thai in town..
I would like to first state that I think Thai Orchid was ran by different management at the time of the last review. My boyfriend and I have been eating there regularly (2-3 times a month) for the past year. The soup is always served freshly made, vegetables are always fresh and the service is very pleasant. The gentleman who typically seats people is always a delight and friendly, he always asks about my mother and inquires on when she may return for lunch; which i find to be nice even if it is a sale tactic.
It can take a bit of time for certain items to get to the table, such as the soup as I have mentioned it is made fresh. I have yet to have a nasty soggy old vegetable and I have yet to have horrible service.

Did Not Meet Expectations. My wife had heard that Thai Orchid was a good restaurant so we decided to give it a try. It failed our expectations. One of the worst restaurants I have ever been too. The Thom Yum soup was served cold. The vegetable curry was also not to good dining standards as the vegetables were old. I have been a vegetarian close to a year and yes it's so easy to spot old vegetables. The service was also bad. It took them close to 45 minutes before we got served which would have been 'kinda" okay if there was a lot of customers but there was so few that the bad service just amazed me. This is just an overpriced Thai restaurant. Definitely not recommended. If you are looking for good Thom Yum soup, try Thai Go at Pioneer Square in Downtown Portland.

Great vegetarian place. I love this place. Their vegetarian fool is out of this world. I love their veg. egg roll, pad thai, and curry with tofu. I can't have enough of their food.

Love the Pad Thai and vegetarian panang curry. A long time fan of Thai Orchid. This place is great; their food is really good. I love their Pad Thai and Panang curry.

I am so disappointed!. My family and I just moved to Hillsboro and I have been wanting have Thai food from a Thai Orchid for some time. Other Thai restaurants are just not the same. But this Thai Orchid was horrible! Oh well. I have noticed other Thai food restaurants in town and will definitely try some of them after I get this bad taste out of my mouth.

Good place to sing and dance. The food is very good. I really like to come here on weekend to party. The bar is great, it offers Karaoke for us to sing and dance every Friday and Saturday nights. There are plenty of parking and the food is great.

Best Thai food I ever tested. I really like their Pad Thai. It is yummy. Service is good and plenty of parking. This location actually has a full bar too.

RUDE. I have never been treated so poorly at a restaurant. They were rude WHEN they came to our table. It took forever to get them to bring us the check and then it took forever to pay. It seemed like they didn't want our service. When we asked for something it was like we were bothering them. I would rather spend my money elsewhere and have an enjoyable meal.
