I've been having Carrie style my hair for years now, and I think she is the best colorist/stylist in Portland. She has an amazing talent. I started going grey in high school and she comes up with the most amazing blends. I love my darker style, but recently she started blending in lighter colors to help with the over-populated grey!!!!. I've gotten so many compliments and I can actually go longer now between colors. I live in Santa Barbara now, but make time for trips to Portland just for her. Your Lucky Portland To Have Her

I had seen so many great reviews about Monica at Bella Pearl salon I decided to try her out. Well.............................I loved her!! I couldn't believe that a review worked for me for once. Usually I read a review, try the place and hate it. Not in this case, a first for sure. I loved the color Monica did and couldn't believe how well she was priced!!! Big big plus especially now. Thanks Monica and Bella Pearl

I love Anna!

When I came to Bella Pearl after reading up on citysearch I was still a little nervous to try a new salon. I had been so unhappy with my hair and felt no one would ever get what I wanted. The moment I walked into Bella Pearl I felt like I was in good hands. The girl behind the front desk was super nice and had great hair! My stylist Anna was so understanding to what I wanted and sat down with me and we talked about a "goal" for my hair over our next few visits. She was so nice and very into what she was talking about. I love my hair and no longer have those brassy undertones I could never get rid of. It's been close to a year now and I'm still in love with my hair. I have been able to try so many new things thanks to someone who understands what to do and how to communicate color science without talking like a chemist!

• Cons: parking can be tough, not the greatest coffee!
