This hatchery is very mellow- its not really set up for visitors, so theres not alot of educational displays and nobody is around to answer your questions most of the time. Still, its a relaxing place to wander and take the opportunity to stretch your legs. They dont really have much of anything set up for visitors-nothing like Bonneville Hatchery, down the road. Bonneville has more educational displays, bathrooms, gardens, sturgeon ponds, trout ponds, a gift shop, etc. So Oxbows a nice place, but nothing like Bonneville.

It can be interesting your first time, but consecutive visits never invite anything new. It's the same old trout ponds, sturgeon viewing pond, fish hatchery ditches, and water fountain. Good for kids and an interesting stop to stretch the legs.
