Unfortunately - I cannot simply delete my original review as I would like to.
At first I was very pleased with the haircut and color I was receiving. Then after going to the same person for some time the quality of the work was inconsistent. The foils were not tight to the head... leaving those "zebra stripes" when the hair was pulled back.
Unfortunately, the last time I went to the salon - the prices went up and the quality continued to go down. I had zebra stripes with less money in my pocket.
I would not recommend Ensemble for color.

Unpleasant. I went in from shopping to ask about waxing and was never greeted with a smile. It took about 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge me, and it smelled like cigarettes because of the smoking stylists outside. I just walked out. It wasn't worth it. View Less …
Maria and Erica are great!. I recently had my hair colored by Erica and cut by Maria. This is my 2nd time with Maria and first with Erica. My daughter also has her hair cut and colored by Maria. They both are very nice to chat with, make you feel welcome, listen to what you want done, and do great work! View Less …
sleekest salon I have ever been to !. I am a regular client to ensamble salon et spa. I love it so much it always gets the job done, weather I am getting a message or getting my eye brows waxed or my hair done. I just love the atmosphere of the salon. its great. I have refered many of my friends. One of my favorit things about the salon is that the stylets can create an updated hair cut or a current look. What is also great is that it is in the middle of a shopping center, so it is very centerly located. I highly reccomend it! View Less …

I decided to give Ensemble a try after hearing about it from a friend. I have been wanting to have highlights done because my hair is
graying and I want to start blending it in gracefully a tiny bit at a time...a very tiny bit. Maria, my stylist, did an awesome job. Right on time, very professional, asking me lots of questions about how I wanted it to look, explaining every step of the process as she was doing it, checking carefully during timing and even adding a glaze to enhance the color and shine (not to mention just how good it felt having my scalp massaged). I LOVE my hair color, it's rich and the highlights look great!
Since I don't have experience with the other stylists at the salon, I can't speak to their talents, but Maria seems to have that Portland edge. also, so if you're looking for something a little more urban out in suburban West Linn, look no further.
