No longer Jopa's! It is now Joe's Burgers. Same owners, but now more sports pub-y, burgers, tacos etc. and less fancy drink selection. Good happy hour and vegetarian selection.

Just ate dinner at JoPa. The prices were reasonable...but the flavor of what I ordered were not good. The Caesar salad had creamy not Caesar salad on it. And the romaine lettuce was a bit too much like bag of lettuce. They also had a wonderful beet salad. But what they did was unforgiveable. I ordered the fish tacos, and they were so bad that I had to reject them. the avocado topping was spritzey, as in it had gone bad, and the combinations of flavors was not good, although initially it looked like it might be good: olives, mandarine oranges, avos, and cod. But yuk, it did not combine well. However, I would have just eaten it- but the avocado topping was spoiled and I returned it to the kitchen. The stinger was we were still charged for it. So, I will never return to this restaurant.

Good potential but ruined by over-flavoring. The fresh pasta in the puttanesca was great, and the halibut was superb, but both dishes were way too salty. The butternut squash ravioli was good, but boring (needed more life and texture). Service was excellent, but we would not go back, not with unlimited choice in the Portland area.

A wonderful date night. Our waitress Jessica was amazing, the food was delicious, the service exemplary, The bill came and it was at least 40.00 LESS than I thought it would be. We will definitely be frequent diners at JoPa!

Wouldn't go back. We were excited to try Jopa for the first time after reading all the wonderful reviews. We had try to go about a year ago only to find it wasn't open on certain days of the week. When reading on the website it was now open every day of the week, we decided to go on Monday for my birthday. The parking lot was packed but there was plenty of available tables inside.

We asked our waitress for a wine recommendation. A $20 bottle of Argentinian Malbec. They have 10 bottles of wine under $20. The wine was delicious for the price. We then asked for menu recommendations.

The pasta pollo was their signature dish and the spaghetti with meatballs was a safe choice but our waitress' favorite. We got one of each.

The bread came right away. An extremely hard crust (almost inedible but my boyrfriend eats any carbs in front of him) but soft in the middle with olive oil and balsamic at the table.

Before finishing our first glass of wine the food came. A little rushed for a birthday dinner but we aren't people to turn down food sitting in front of us.

Both our noodles were extremely al dente. My cream sauce was so salty that the only part of my dish I could eat were the chunks of chicken. My boyfriend said the marinara sauce was fine but definately not the best in town as previously stated and the meatballs had an odd spice in them.

Our waitress was nice. There was no shortage of bread or water. However having tried two of their best dishes, the spaghetti and meatballs being so-so and their signature pollo pasta being so salty I couldn't even eat it, we definately wont be going back or recommending it to anybody. Wish we had seen some more recent and realistic reviews before choosing it as my birthday meal. We left hungry and headed off to another restaurant for dessert.

Fantastic food and service. Best marinara sauce we've ever had. Lots of choices on the menu and everything is good. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Don't wait, go tonight.

Good food and cheap wine. Jopa is a nice restaurant for adults. It’s quiet, dimly lit and the service is always friendly. If you go, try the little personal pizzas – they are always delectable.

Everything here is delicious!. Jopa is amazing. My husband and I have been there several times and never had a negative experience with anything! Their steak is one of the best we've ever had. Their chicken entrees are deliciously moist. The butterscotch creme brulee was SO good! The appetizers are also good, especially the salmon skewers. They frequently have unique weekly specials that we order more often than not. On Tuesdays all wine is half off, making it more affordable to have a great night! We have always been seated right away when we come there, and the servers know their stuff! They make great recommendations and are real pros. The cocktails are made very well, try the Arrogant Gimlet if you are a gin fan. The only downside about this wonderful place is the price; I wish I could afford to go more often!

Awful Easter service. Took the family for Easter brunch, arriving early when very few diners had arrived. Service was a struggle from beginning to end. Buffet food was lukewarm and bland.

Sad Easter meal for us.
