I love this fabulous Salon! The staff is friendly & so accommodating, the place is beautiful, but most importantly my hair turned out wonderful. I will be back, & back & back again!

Previously I had an extension system put in that sounded great, but was a complete disaster. I lost 1/3rd of my hair with this other system. I went back to Kymie/Kim and I can't even verbalized how helpful & what a fantastic job she did. It took her hours to carefully take out the old system, the glue had turned to a plastic like substance, that had melted right into my thin fine hair, another stylist volunteered & helped her deal with my hair since her next client was running really late for what I think was a lengthy appointment (not sure, she didn't say). Both of them carefully removed the old system that had already caused considerable breakage & damage to my hair.

Then I had a weave, the color turned out fabulous, I love it! Kymie trimmed what she could of my badly damaged & broken hair, & then did the most awesome job of hair extensions.

I would recommend this salon to anyone, whether they live in town or out of town. I once again have a full head of fabulous looking healthy hair. I am so happy, I can once again fix my hair, with little effort, (the other system would get wet and take hours to dry, even though it was thin, dry feeling hair, touted as the best hair on the market)!

The extensions I had done at Hey Beautiful, are top of the line, quality hair, the color is fab, I am sooooo Happy. There is just no comparison with other places I have had my hair done.

I Highly Recommend this Salon! The staff was great, everyone that came by would ask if I needed anything, it's a nice friendly place & the spa area is gorgeous, can't wait to try some of the other services!

I came here for a hair cut and color and received surprisingly amazing customer service, and my hair turned out amazing! I understand bad reviews and people being upset, but I felt like this place goes above and beyond customer service. The staff is very happy and they all seem to get along and have a good time together. I felt like I have been to this salon my whole life. They treat you like you just walked into their home. Not to mention how beautiful it is,. They take you on a tour of the salon, of which at first I didn't know why, till I got to the spa and saw the hot tub and spa area. This place is a gem in Portland and I'm certain is going to become a favorite to people. Its def my go to salon. Highly recommend!!

This place is so beautiful! Love the staff! Love the services! Love the environment! So glad this place exists! Kim or Kymi is so great! She gave us a walk in consultation and was so sweet to us even though they where closing, all the girls hung out with us and made us feel like we where in there home. What a great place to be. If we don't end up with extensions, we will make this our spot to go to for all our services. Thanks ladies for being so great!!!!

I've never seen a more beautiful day spa in Portland. We met the ladies at the expo and they where so charming we had to visit them. We did pedicures together and the woman here where so accommodating with the desk asking us if we needed anything on a regular basis. The two girls that did our nails where just delightful and pleasant, they really respect the management and coworkers. I highly recommend this place.

So happy with my extensions Kymi did, they changed my life! I will follow her to any salon! Just don't leave :) She is a miracle worker and is amazingly talented! I didn't think I would ever have long or thick hair again, I didn't think It would be this great! Thank you!!!!

I have been going to salons all my life. It's my only way to get away from the stress of my life, I have been searching for that perfect place to go and Portland really doesn't have that fabulous place to brag about, TILL I came to Hey beautiful. This place is AMAZING I was almost in a bad mood to leave. The staff is so friendly and the space is just unbelievable. I scheduled only a facial but I am sad I didn't get more. They couldn't ad any more services due to being too busy. I will be coming here for a long time and spend a longer time visiting and getting services done! This place is great and worth checking out!!

NO salon should have more than a handful of bad reviews, if any. If the consensus is that this place has so many negatives about it, I would tend to beleive it. I have been a hairdresser for 18 years with not one poor review. I'm sure in that time I have had an unhappy client (realistically) but apparently never bad enough to write a review about it. These reviews are deeply concerning and I agree, almost unbelievable.

STAY AWAY!!! Be warned and read other complaints posted about this salon. Also google "Kalista Salon". There are reasons they've changed the salon name and can't keep employees longer than a few weeks. BAD! BAD! BAD! I've left more than 3 dozen messages after I had a horrible experience and lost hundreds of dollars. They did end up letting the employee go a week later because they found a lot of other issues after they started looking into my bad experience. They've gone through 2 or 3 salon managers since I've been calling and speaking to them about this. The salon was completely unresponsive and I wasn’t even asking for full reimbursement. They didn't want to talk me period.

If you ever have a problem there, and many have from reading the posts, they'll avoid you by having the receptionist bush you off with “no one’s here to take your call” or “she’s gone for a week”. After all of this, I happened to run into one of their ex-employee’s and the stories about this salon are even worse than I imagined. Hard to believe they're still in business and my guess is they won't be much longer. I should have checked the reviews before going, my mistake. Don’t let it be yours too.
