Hip and industrial girl-chic, this salon fits right in on NE Broadway's promenade. Decor includes a rotating art exhibit, hanging antique mirrors, iron baking racks (serving up trays of products), a grand piano draped with a flowery scarf, and velvety, overstuffed couches. Moms and gal pals come here to get a new 'do or relax. But take note: the space is mostly devoted to the salon, and salon sounds carry into spa treatment rooms.

I went in and saw Muriel for my very first Brazilian Wax. I was a little nervous to say the least - her staff prepared me on what to expect when I made the appointment, suggesting I take some IB Profin before I get there to reduce any swelling after. Muriel was professional, friendly, had a great sense of humour and made me feel totally comfortable. She made the whole experience as painless as it could possibly be. As I was leaving she sat me down in a chair and gave me a complimentary eyebrow trim & tweeze. I was a little apprehensive before I got there about the salon being out of someone's home, but everything was very clean, sanitary, and (from what I could tell) very professional equipment. I give her 2 thumbs up, for sure.
Pros: professional, clean, comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff

For all the guys out there that are afraid to get the unwanted hair waxed, this was pretty painless. The folks at this place were very kind, and understanding that this was my "first", and it went amazingly well. Muriel is very cool, and very professional, and I couldnt be happier to be done with all the "Sasquatch" going on in my chest and back. Thank you Muriel!!! I was really apprehensive about doing this, I tried trimming with scissors, and my wife hated it, it was too prickly....Man I feel GOOOOD!!! Thanks again!!!
