GREAT STUFF. Best Indian food in Gresham.

I ordered chicken curry which was excellent.

My wife had the lamb kebob which was a little well done for my taste. Naan bread $2.00 was good too. Cost about 40$ with tip, including my 22oz. beer. Nice atmosphere, uncrowded, service was fine. My wife left her scarf and the waiter saw us walking past restraunt after we got coffee, he intercepted us with scarf in hand. Thanks! I guess it pays to tip well. We'll be going back for sure.

Good for a beginner. I'm new to Indian food, so I can not really speak to how authentic it maybe. Parking is great, lots of open tables, the place is really clean and pretty. Service has been very helpful, we were honest and just told our server that we did not know a thing and he was very helpful. The prices were reasonable, and we plan on returning often to learn more about this food, and maybe culture.

A great find!!!. I was very skeptical when we first arrived here as there was only two other families. I am so glad that we stayed. There wasonly one server for the whole restaurant, but he recommended the chicken " karma" I think thats what it was called, and it was to die for! Everything we had was fantastic and I fell in love with the mint sauce. We also had the tandorichicken which was good and came out smokin hot, literally!!!

Food Allergy? Stay away from this restaurant. This is a restaraunt we have gone to occassionally for awhile. The food is great and had kept us going back. We knew it was not a place to go for service (very gruff) and whenever we took anybody new there, we would warn them about the service. This week, the management got very upset with my family for asking questions re: ingredients in the food. We have a toddler that has food allergies. The questions sent the manager/server into a tizzy. When asked about a specific menu item and the possibility that it contained corn, he got very agitated and stated "as I've already told you....no corn". The product looked exactly like corn, and without explanation as to it's actual origin I consider this restaurant a REAL DANGER to anyone with food allergies. If you catch them on a good day, you might be in luck, but enter at your own risk. To this allergy sufferer family, it is not worth the risk.

Exceptional Sauces. The Gentleman greets you as a valued customer, and the restaurant is easy to park next to. So far, the experience is excellent. The wait time for ordering and receiving the food is excellent! Warm and expedient. The Okra dish is a favorite, Lovely sauce on the Chicken Vindaloo, the Tandori is ok, but Ive had it over done, so mention how you like it. The Garlic Nan is good, but spendy.

ALWAYS Eat at the restaurant!!!! DONT DO TAKE OUT!! Its a better experience and much more food. Plus you can see the portions and the bill.

We love the restaurant, but as with much in life, take these few precautions and you will return for the wonderful sauces and warm environment. We have eaten at many great Indian Cuisine restaurants in Beaverton, Hawthorne dist., etc. but we return to India Oven over and over.

Best Indian Food ever!. The chai (tea) and food are the best I've ever tasted in this hidden treasure of an Indian restaurant. I have yet to try something I didn't like here and the service is top notch and friendly. Must haves: vegetable samosas, chicken makanwala, chicken tikka masala, saag aloo, and chai (nirvana in a cup). Dinner comes with velvety naan (bread), rice, and soup or salad (try the soup - it's a deliscious blend of yellow lentils, cumin, and lemon) - and is reasonably priced for lunch and dinner (lunch buffet for only $6.95). I've eat here at least once a week for the last few years. What a gem! A perfect 10! :-)
