Tips for Ted Isaacs Salon

September 07, 2012

Nikki is the BEST! She has been doing my hair for approximately 6 years now. She is extremely talented at doing both hair color and hair cuts. Every time I bring a picture in of what I want, my hair turns out exactly how I wanted it. On top of that, she is also a very nice person. I will never go anywhere else.

Take the Bad with the Good. AOS took the time to write about his wife's experience at this salon, unfortunately, it was not good for her. So why does someone (a Ted Issac employee perhaps?) have to comment that this "was not helpful?" How can this comment not be helpful? This was her experience and unless you were there you have no right to make any comment. Any salon that makes bitchy or nasty comments to customers always has something to hide. Ted Issac's be professional, remove that nasty comment and let people know about your customer experiences, good or bad.

Tara at Ted Isaacs is the best!. Tara has been doing my hair for a couple of years now - and I couldn't be happier. When I moved back to town my old salon had closed and I spent a while trying to find a new hair dresser. One of my co-workers raved about Ted Isaacs, so I had to check it out. They were able to work with my schedule and get me in - and I have been completely happy with all of the color and cuts they have done! From color correction (I really should never tried to do it myself) to cutting several inches off my hair - I have never had a horrible experience. I've been able to refer several friends there - everyone has been happy!

Hair Color Disaster. I'm writing this on behalf of my wife. She had her hair colored at Ted Isaacs yesterday. She is very unhappy with the result. Tears, frustration, lack of sleep...she is the matron of honor in a wedding next weekend, and a doctor during the week.

The color is not what she or the colorist decided (based on picture). She doesn't know if it was inexperience, but the auburn/copper color she asked for is a deep-red with hints of purple/magenta. It's not even CLOSE. VERY unnatural looking. My wife's hair looks like it belongs on a 16 year old with a box dye job.

My wife has washed it 4 times since yesterday with non-colorsafe shampoo, and none of the coloring came out.

Ted Isaacs has agreed to re-color, but it will take a lot of effort to go from the dark, unnatural color it is now, to the lighter color she expects.

Nikki is the BEST!. Nikki has been doing my hair for years. I would follow her anywhere, but I am so glad she is at Ted Isaacs. The entire staff if very nice, and the salon is comfortable, with great atmosphere. Nikki is very talented with cutting and coloring. I never have to worry, I just tell her to do what she wants with my hair and I leave there feeling like a million bucks.

Great service and style. Tara is a great communicator and a superb, talented magician! (She does magic with my curly hair every seven weeks!) Thank you, Tara.

Great haircuts, even 2 months grown out. I've only had the opportunity to go to Ted Isaac's salon sporatically, but I can say honestly that Tara Isaac (new owner; Ted Isaac's daughter) has learned well from her father. With two small children at home, I do not have a lot of time to spend on styling my hair, and she consistently delivers quality cuts and styles that grow out really well. Plus, I get to feel pampered for an hour. I can't speak to the other stylists, but I can say that Tara is a great stylist, and I would imagine that the team she has is just as good. They seem to have very loyal clients coming in, whenever I am in there.
