An old-fashioned medical practice based on putting patient care first!!!

I had to write after reading the first review. I have never been to a better physician. The reason you wait in the waiting room is because it is well worth the wait! Thorough is the best word I can use to describe this doctor. The initial visit is lengthy and he delves into your history like a detective. He takes into account all aspects of your history, even if you are coming to him for only one problem. He truly views the entire person. The staff is warm, intelligent, and caring and they work wonderfully with the physician. This is an old-fashioned medical practice, not modeled after an HMO or a fast-food restaurant. Many of his patients tell me that they have been with him for 10 to 20 years. Nuff said!

• Cons: if you don't like to wait, you won't be happy

Think again

If you are thinking of going to this doctor...think again. If you have time to waste you might not mind sitting in the waiting room an hour before you are even put in the exam room, just to wait another 30 minutes to see the doc for an exam that takes 10 minutes. In addition I was not overly impressed with his bed side manner, felt I was getting the attention I deserved or that I was being heard. What was wrong with me should have been a lot simplier to figure out than it was and ultimately it was another doctor who did. Maybe he wasn't the right guy for this job, if you go to him I hope you have better luck.
