Good food but quite costly. The food out here is good, but I have been to this place on both occassions just because I was told that the chef does some nice tricks at your table by my friends (they were from out of town). I did not see anything that I would have considered as a good trick (or what they call Teppanyaki) on both occasions (and even when I peeped to the adjacent tables :-)). Though the food is good, it is pretty costly.

Make reservations if you intend to go to this place, it was quite crowded on the day we went (Friday).

Confused. I'm not sure what all the rave reviews are about. Sure, the presentation is nice and it's a fun atmosphere. I understand the high prices because the cooks come to your table. We got sushi and steak with mushrooms. The appetizers were salad, onion soup, and vegetables. The soup (an onion broth) was ok, he salad dressing was gross, and there were just a few pieces of onion and zucchini. The fried rice and steak (with like 3 pieces of mushroom) tasted like nothing but salt. The most unimpressive $60 I've ever spent at a restaurant (that's just with drinking water)! Changs Mongolian Grill or a restaurant of that nature is way better!

BEST SUSHI AROUND!!. I'm sure the show in the restaurant is great, but I go to Benihana for the sushi (in a separate bar room). It's absolutely THE BEST! The sushi hand rolls are huge and very fresh...and the best part is, they're only $1.25 each!!! You really can't beat that!

Fin if you like strangers. The food was good, and the show the waiter put on was fun. But we had to share our table with strangers. If you don't care about intimate discussion, it's fine.

WOW!!!!. Benihana is the best resturant in the world! It has such a fun environment and it's so cool how you get the food cooked RIGHT in front of you. The cooks are great and very friendly. This is a place you have to go to at least 100 times

A new dining experience. Well where do I start? I took my mom to Benihana's for her birthday and we were treated to a dining experience like never b4. I have been to dinner shows before but never like this. You are seated a table that has a large flat grill in the middle of it. Your server greets you and takes the orders. Onion soup is brought to the table. Then the fun starts!! Your chef comes out and starts to prepare your meal, but he/she adds his/her own little flashes to it wether it is juggling a knife or doing some fancy work with a salt and pepper shaker. The prices were GREAT, the food was phenomenal, and the service was EXCELLENT!! We are going back on my birthday!!! This is a 5 star dining experience!

exciting dining experience. This restaurant has been a favorite of mine for years. The atmosphere is busy and exciting. The food is wonderful and the way they prepare it in front of you is an experience. The chefs there are funny and entertaining. We like to go in large groups because they are very accommodating.

Fun,fun,fun! And edible too!. You never know what will happen next at your table, it's always different. The only thing that isn't different is the food. Always good and fresh! If you don't like having fun at the dinner table this is not the place to go.
