This is the story of ..........DIRTY DIAPERS .........(it's long, but promise it's worth it) This gory little story is how Seasons & Regions exemplary staff saved the day!!! Last evening we dined at this lovely seafood restaurant, just me and the hubby. It was a celebration dinner. Everything was perfect from the food, drinks, appetizers, dessert, entrees...amazingly yummy 4+ stars. BUT the service was impeccable under insurmountably horrific conditions =10 stars.

You know the saying, "you can't pick your neighbors". Well the booth next to us were the most disgusting, crude, inconsiderate, ignorant pieces of garbage I've ever encountered in a public restaurant!

The accounts of the evening:

Baby starts screaming (24-36 month: toddler) and next thing I know, the "mother-disguster of the year" plops the child down ON THE BOOTH and changes the kids DIRTY pooooooo DIAPERS! That's right, she did NOT head to the restroom (literally 5 feet away) or to the car, but right there in the middle of the restaurant. Had this been her only crime I would probably never would have taken the time to write this, but THERE'S MORE:

The lovely servers were trying to help (obviously this family were an obnoxious and abusive bunch toward staff ever since they slithered in. Acting as if they were entitled royalty, but ROYAL PIGS is more like it). The servers came over asked how they could help, as food and drinks were some how knocked on the floor during all the commotion and the MOTHERDISGUSTER said, "Here" as she REACHED over to the server who was holding a tray [she was tasked to clean up their pig pin of a booth]...and (WAIT FOR IT)...

THE mother PUT THE DIRTY DIAPER ON THE TRAY... as if this was acceptable in any human culture in a restaurant. I have animals who are cleaner about their business that this woman. At least my dog knows to leave his pooo in the dog area and our cats use only the litter pan.

Before you bemoan'ers get all befuddled; believe me, I am sympathetic. I have 3 grown children and 7 grandchildren. I understand the need to have an urgent diaper change, but I always (and still w/the grandkids ) head to the restroom or car-there is always time. No one should have to see poooo or smell it in the middle of the dining room.

When these people left, the staff had to work tirelessly to disinfect the entire area and they kept finding garbage (several outside coffee paper cups, napkins, silverware, food on the floor or in the booth) THESE PEOPLE SHOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED OUT NOR TO BREED! They treated the staff like 2nd class citizens, were actually rude to the staff. All the while, the staff were amazing to them and all customers, never missing a beat!

The entire restaurant staff were incredibly professional, handled the situation with grace, speed and they were simply stellar. Bravo!

A few of us applauded quietly when the family of pigs left. I love when bad neighbors move!

ALWAYS a TREAT!!!!. I have been coming here since I moved to Portland three years ago. There is something for everyone from the meat-o-holic (i.e. bacon cheese burgers/Philly lovers) to the staunch vegan. I am addicted to the smoked salmon eggs Benedict served for brunch on the weekends with a build your own mimosa.

If you have a light appetite they also have an amazing cheap eats menu that satisfies an afternoon snack for 2.95. ALWAYS fresh seasonal whole-food ingredients.

Service here is TOP NOTCH!!! I say this because I used to manage a bar back in Colorado & am anal when it comes to good service.

Home-made food & Ice-cream (the Peanut butter or Strawberry are out of this world) & Kahlua cake, fresh seafood and and a DAILY changing menu.

I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT!!!!

Wow and wow!. SW Portland doesn't get enough credit for the many gems in the area. Seasons & Regions is no exception. Remember that this restaurant not only has a diverse yet inspired dinner menu but makes one heck of a breakfast.

If you drive by this place you may think it looks strange with the plastic walled area. Don't be fooled! This is upscale casual at it's finest & you'll find old Toyotas alongside new BMW's in the parking lot. Inside mama's kibitz with each other, dates gaze at each other and parties roar with delight when seeing their fab desserts. Everyone is welcome here and the waitstaff is helpful but not intrusve.

So much is good about the food from the house smoked chicken to the grilled zuchinni. Last time I was there I had sole stuffed with shrimp and the touch was light yet tangy yet creamy. Also wonderful are the many gluten free options, veggie options, and non-seafood options. Plus the desserts are AMAZING! Housemade icecream, fresh fruit, rich but not sickening chocolate delights. Oh and I forgot to mention the garden salad has veggies that taste like their straight out of the garden!

In the morning scones come with many selections and eggs are cooked exactly to order and the potato pancakes have great flavor.

My only complaint... they don't do free dessert on birthdays. Oh well no one's perfect!

Awesome!. This place is just awesome. We decided to check it out after searching for "Seafood" in our GPS when we were in the area house-hunting. I decided I needed to move to Hillsdale so I could be nearer this restaurant!

The staff is great - always friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable.

Go there for cheap food, or for anything - you won't regret it.

We have been back many times and plan to make this one of our regular spots.
