Terrible Service, Great Food. The last few times I have been to The Skyway the service has been terrible. I literally have waited an hour for food that is pre-made. The waitstaff mostly are friendly, but not very attentive. I sat for 20 minutes with an empty cup. The food is wonderful, when you finally get it. Also, I take issue with bars charging an extra dollar per drink when there is live music. The music is often too loud for the small dining room/bar, and should be played later in the evening, not when i'm trying to have a dinner conversation. Overall the terrible service kills this place for me. If you want to go there, order take-out.…

Excellent Food - Friendly Staff. I called a head for some food to go because I heard they had great Mac and Cheese. I ordered the mixed BBQ sampler, Salmon and a large Mac and Cheese. Everything was delicious. Some of the best BBQ I have ever had, and the staff was super friendly.

I will be going back next week, and this time I will east inside. The place itself is pretty cool looking inside.…

Delicious Mountain Dining, Perfect Environment!. I've been here to dine with my husband several times before we were married. The food and ambience was so spectacular that we decided to have our wedding rehearsal there as well. Here's the down low:

The ambience is spectacular. It is a husband/wife couple that own and run the place, and you are bound to see them both hard at work alongside their servers when you visit. The husband is an artist and has painted quite a few beautiful eclectic paintings on the wall, and the decorations are eclectic pub like as well. The lighting is spectacular- words can't describe how fun of an environment it is! There is a lowered hearth and fireplace with couches and tables, great for apres after a day of turns at hood.

The bar is fully stocked, the prices are decent, and the bartenders are great. The pub scene is lively, and they more often than not have live music.

The food is spectacular. Everything is from scratch and is high quality. They make a bunch of BBQ dishes, all their own homemade eclectic sauces. Also their mac n cheese is wonderful- akin to that served at the Montage in pdx. Everything we've tried has been fantastic.

For our rehearsal dinner, they catered everything wonderfully for us, they were EXTREMELY flexible with what we were looking for, and the prices were reasonable. Every single one of our friends and family were very well taken care of and had a great time.

Poor service. My friends and I have tried 3 times now. The food is okay, but trying to get the wait staff's attention and keep it is hard. IF you get their initial attention, it is quickly diverted to someone they know (ie:friends) to chat with.

We might try again, but there are too many other places on the mountain to partake.…
