Camp Arrowhead is located on a wonderful, scenic piece of land in the Columbia River Gorge. A myriad of camping opportunities are available for girls -- cabin camping, tent camping, and primitive camping facilities are available. Troops can camp there during the spring and fall, while resident camp is offered in the summer. Camp Arrowhead is strong in tradition, yet offers programs that appeal to today's girls, like "CSI Arrowhead" and "Arrowhead Idol". Girl Scout Camp standards are high, so parents can rest assured that their daughters will be safe. My daughters have been troop camping at Arrowhead, and one will attend for resident camp this year. Information about the camp is on the Girl Scouts website; just search for Girl Scouts Columbia River Council or Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington (Citysearch won't allow me to post the URL).
