Editorial Review for Lola's Room – by Nancy Levenson

In Short
Sandwiched between Ringler's and the Crystal Ballroom, Lola's Room hosts live rock shows and club nights that are intimate and easy on the wallet. The crowd you'll find here depends on the evening's music selection. Most nights, a refreshing mix of people fills the dance floor. Every Friday, a few bucks grants you entry into an '80s dance night. Tables and booths with low lighting provide a place to sip drinks and rest tired feet.

Excellent music selection, fun crowd, great dancing, lots of cute guys. The scene was so fun, everyone was enjoying the music and they take requests of all kinds of 80's. We danced to Billy Idol, AC/DC, The Cure, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Michael Jackson, Depeche Mode, and Erasure all by request. The beers are a little pricey, but the cover charge is nothing. This isn't a snob bar, it seemed like everyone was fun and sociable. I highly recommend it for Friday nights. See ya there!
