Building is falling apart, door held
together with duct tape, booths likewise and that wasn't the worst part. Food was sub par, and mostly flavorless. There are many, much better options for Thai food in Beaverton.

Wanted to try something new as Typhoon
closed in the Round. We're not really picky and this place was not good - tried egg rolls, pad thai, red curry, and veggie chicken stir-fry. There was absolutely no flavor to any of it. Even the dipping sauce for the egg rolls was bland and tasted of plain vinegar. Will pass on this place and go back to Peppertree Thai...not as much meat in the dishes, but there's flavor there.

Rama Yum!.
This is one of Oregon's awesome "hole in the wall" outside amazeing food inside.
For 2 people to eat for under $18 with a good tip, this place is well worth it. the food is CONSISTENT no matter what day or time you eat. We are fans of the salad rolls and Pad-Sie-Ew.

Good food.
A bit hard to find. Looks ghetto from the outside. Nice and quiet. Food was delicious. Booth was put back together with duct tape. hahaha. I'll be back.

Glad I found this place.
I get take out here. This place is tucked in strip mall. It is not fancy by any means. It could stand some updating but I don't mind because their dishes are about a dollar cheaper than some "fancier" Thai restaurants. It is laid back and casual which I like. The service is always very friendly and not fake. Service is quick and their Pad Thai is delicious. I have told many friends about this place and intend on being a customer for years to come!

Totally misrepresented in previous review.
Quaint Thai place with lots of atmosphere tucked quietly in the back of a strip mall where most people can't find it. The food is authentic, freshly prepared from raw ingredients. It's like going over to your favorite Thai neighbor for dinner. The owners are usually there and chatty. You'll get a chance to browse women's magazines in Thai. Such fashionistas!

Less than average.
Being quite enamored with Thai food I thought we'd give something new a try. There seem to be ample reviews stating that Rama Thai is a really great restaurant with authentic food, etc. Unfortunately, I found Rama Thai to be pretty distasteful. We ordered standard (checking out a new Thai restaurant) fare; Pad Thai, Green Curry, and Chicken Satay. Honestly, I can't say that any one of these dishes was good. The satay was dry and rubbery, the pad thai was congealed into one massive glob of rice noodles (although it was also crunchy as it had been burnt on one side of the glob), the green curry was really "unbalanced" as far as the spices. I was really hoping for a new spot to get some good curry, but this is not it. Bummer.

THAIRIFFIC Cuisine.
In the last 3 weeks I've been to 3 different Thai restaurants in Beaverton. (Typhoons, Thailand Restaurant, and Rama Thai). I ordered the Pad Thai noodles at each establishment and, hands down, Rama Thai was the best. No comparison. At the other places the dish was just way to sickly sweet. (Like candy.) Rama Thai had just the right amount of sweetness, was full of flavor, and (most important) the chicken was perfectly bronzed. (Nothing I can't stand worse than stir fry cooking where the person doesn't know how to properly brown the meat. At the other places the chicken was cooked in its own liquid and was bland and chewy.) I could have ordered it a little spicier though. ----The Panang Curry was awesome also.----- All in all one of the few restaurants listed on CitySearch where I agreed with each and every one of the reviews. Bravo!

Best in PDX.
This is one of our favorite Thai restaurants in town. If you're looking for authentic Thai cuisine in PDX, this is probably it.
I went with a Thai friend from Bangkok and he told me this was his favorite in Portland and better than quite a few places in Bangkok as well.

sweet sensation.
Each menu item has its own positive touches. The pad thai has a very chewy and flavorful touch to it that makes you want to go back for more. The beef salad slightly grilled, and slightly flame broiled, has a very tangy but scrumptous flavor to it all. The service is also very fantastic, water is filled when necessary and also the portions of the food are extremely reasonable for the price. Feels like a boutique restaurant and family oriented atmosphere.
Must try! If the food is not worth your money, email me and we shall have a talk.
Go thailand!.... I'm Korean by the way.
