STAY AWAY LIKE THE PLAGUE. stay far, far away!!! My husband and I lived here for 3 years, were good tenants, always paid rent on time, etc. However, with the all the moisture that literally dripped down our walls everything turned black..after we complained numerous times about that and nothing was done .had to buy a dehumidifer. after moving out star metro charged us well over $700 for "smoke damage" ha....we never smoked in the apt. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM, they will get you when you move out ...trust me.…

sure they make it easy to get into. sure it's easy to get a place from Star Metro. I really enjoyed living in their properity, but watch out if they ask you for a large deposit. Telling you from experience that the "deposit" will be "refunded" with fake charges and you will receive less than half. in our case the large deposit was for poor rental history.

beware when you call to ask about it. it won't be easy. the person i spoke with was super condecending.

also, not everyone that rents from them puts down a deposit. so you can expect they will take from you as much as they can.…

Fast and efficient, Got approved in 15 minutes. Being from out of town I was afraid that I would not be able to find a place to live in the tight Portland market.
