Great Job. Just got a new garage door from these folks. They were really nice and great to work with, and the installer was really organized and knew what he was doing. He took the time to explain how my new door and opener work, and even wiped everything down and washed the windows when we was done. There were a couple companies that were a bit less, but they didn't match the service provided. Give them a try!  View Less View More

Terrific service. They were able to come out the same day to fix my garage door. They were very nice on the phone, and their service guy was really professional and didn't treat me like a dumb housewife! He showed me what was broken, and fixed it and then went on to lube and check everything on my door. The cost was very fair and I would recommend them to my neighbors  View Less View More

Incompetent and unprofessional. I would expect a garage door company to know a little something about garage doors. When I clipped the bottom of my garage door while backing out, I called Precision Door Company because they could come that day, plus they had a coupon in the yellow pages. Big mistake--never go for the company with a coupon. The guy (Brad) was friendly and repaired the part on the top panel that fell off. He quoted me a price to replace the dented bottom panel. Fast forward 2 months, when I wanted to have the bottom panel replaced. They said no problem, honored the quoted price, and sent someone a few hours later. So far, so good--I was very happy with the company at this point. The guy (Nick) installed the panel in no time flat and asked me to take a look and sign off on it. It looked great--except the panel design didn't match the rest of the door. Apparently, the company changed the design a few years ago, and no one at Precision Door thought to check what year the door was made, and whether the panel they brought actually matched the rest of the door. So now I'm stuck with either a mismatched panel or the old dented one. I told Nick to put the old one back on, which he did and quickly drove off. When I lowered the door, I was shocked to see that it was covered with greasy black handprints. Since I had already moved out of the house, there was nothing there I could use to clean the door. I had to drive to the nearby Albertson's and pilfer a bunch of their sanitary wipes and scrub for 10 minutes with a screaming baby in the back of the car. I couldn't get all the grease off, though. When I called the front office to complain, the owner (Kim) was very apologetic and offered to send Nick back to clean up. He called me and denied he made the door dirty ("I was wearing gloves the whole time."--well, I know I didn't put those handprints there!) but offered to clean it up anyway. At least the company didn't charge me for the two hours of my time it wasted, but it certainly didn't offer me anything but the half-hearted clean-up job. Anyway, if you have the misfortune to deal with Precision Door, make sure to verify that your door model hasn't changed since it was installed because they apparently don't keep track of these things.  View Less View More
