Portland >Thai Ginger Inc
I LOVE Thai Ginger!!!!!!!!. The BEST Thai food ever! We eat their a couple of times a month and have never been disappointed. I love the yellow curry and the pad thai. Lunch portions are smaller and a bit cheaper and the dinner portions are significantly larger. My significant other and I will order the dinner portion of the yellow curry and split it and there is more than enough. I think that it is cheaper than other thai restaurants and better. Staff is very friendly as well. Give it a try!
Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors. North Portland Thai restaurant with strip mall exterior serves authentic seafood and meat platters and noodles; vegetarian options available.
The Best Thai food ever!. This small restaurant located in North Portland is a quaint refreshing refuge with amazing food. Thai Ginger's menu reflects an extensive, well thought out profile of the areas finest thai food. Even when I travel to larger cities with the "worlds best Thai food", I always come back to Thai Ginger. The service is consistantly great, seating is quick, and the food arrives very fast! Take a drive to no po and you won't regret it!
Ehh.. I read all the reviews and was excited to try this place. I was underwhelmed. I love Thai food, and the pad thai here is very good. The problem is the portions are significantly smaller than other Thai restaurants but the prices are the same. I ordered panang curry that was pretty mediocre. They seemed to really skimp on the coconut milk and cut the curry with broth. I probably won't return here just because there are so many good Thai restaurants in Portland and this place did not hold enough of my attention.
BEST PAD THAI, great thai.
pad thai is GREAT! noodles are cooked perfect and can i say the flavor is wonderful!!! I eat alot of THAI and this is 1 of my favorites!!!
There lunch menu is great also and the PRICE...cant beat it. They are willing to please on the menu. I really like that about this place since i'm such a picky eater!
Best in Town. I have tried several Thai restaurants around Portland and this one is by far my favorite! I think it is better than the big name Thai restaurants around town. I highly recommend this place!
THAI GINGER (it won't get better than this). Are you looking for authentic tasting Thai food? Thai Ginger is the restaraunt for YOU. This restaurant honestly has the best thai food in town. You can ask any UP student - it's a hit with them. Their portions may not be as big as other thai restaurants, but food quality is always consistent so you will always experience the same great taste. You can order your food mild or extra. extra spicy if you're brave enough. Meat is tender (not rubbery). If you want to spend less money, try the lunch menu, which has specials at lower prices than the dinner menu. Desserts are recommended: sticky rice with mango or coconut ice cream with fried bananas. Thai Ginger also provides prompt service, a clean environment, and great ambience with music playing. Overall, you will have a great experience at this joint and will want to come back for more!
Sure to become a fave. This is the best Thai food restaurant in town. The food is delicious, the service always prompt & friendly, and the inside environment intriguing. My husband and I have been coming to Thai Ginger since 2002, and we have always enjoyed our experience. My hunny's favorite dish is the Pad Thai, while I love the Pra Ram Noodle (with tons of veggies!). We'd recommend the Tom Ga soup, coconut ice cream, and the deep fried banannas to top it all off. You should definitely check this place out. You won't be disappointed!
Authentic Thai food, great location. This is some of the best Thai food I've had stateside. The Pad Thai is to die for, and the spring rolls are amazing. The servings aren't your average huge American size, but the value is still great. I recommend the Sweet Sticky Rice and Mango for dessert as well, it's as good as the stuff in Thailand, hands down.
The best Thai food in Portland. I love Thai Ginger. It is the best Thai food in Portland. The fried spring rolls are wonderful. They are so accomodating. It is the best! The only con is parking. I can not say enough about how wonderful this restaurant is!
