In Short
The sunken space feels warm and welcoming, thanks to a golden paint job and the low ceiling. Dark wood booths offer an escape for conversation or some time with the morning paper. Breakfast includes scrambles and omelets packed with the usual suspects--green onions, bacon, Jack cheese--and excellent roasted potatoes. For lunch try the grilled ham and cheese or the club sandwich, big portions served with crisp homemade potato chips.

Great Breakfast Place! Great food! Accomodating for special requests. Their french toast is to-die-for :-) Great art. Friendly staff.

I had a good experience at Emanon for breakfast on Sunday. I came in, found a booth and stuck around for a while to enjoy my Old Country omlet and a few spicy bloody mary's. The food was great and my server very attentive. The only thing that struck me as strange was the server laying down the bill unasked and without asking if I needed anything else, which I did. Also, at the bottom of the itemized bill they print, "Gratuity Not Included!" Is that really necessary? Implying that I'm either an idiot or out to stiff the staff?
Pros: Location, service, bar
Cons: Weird woman who came in with her dog to clean the windows
