In Short – Velvety draped walls, secluded booths, low lighting and deep armchairs huddled around a fireplace are the setting for neighborhood regulars and romance-seeking couples. The International menu has comforting pastas, bruschetta, focaccia with pesto and cream cheese and fresh mozzarella and tomato salad with hunks of Gorgonzola. The smoked salmon fettuccine in a light cream sauce, while the lasagna has an atypical topping of cheddar. For dessert, flan and cheesecakes are on the menu.

The owner and staff are very friendly, and I had great service.

Great selection of wine. Happy hour wine at $4 a glass.

How hard is it to get a burger right?

by toddlisonbee at Citysearch

We ordered med-rare and got over-done. Probably the worst burger experience of my life. McDonald's would have been better than the cardboard we were served. I've never had a bad experience at any other restaurant on 28th. You can do better!

  • Pros: Nice pickled element on burger
  • Cons: Beef tasted like cardboard
