I went out a couple of days ago with my husband and young daughter for dinner at Abu Rasheed. I must say that from beginning to end, the experience was quite pleasant. The servers are very upbeat and helpful in explaining what each dish is. We ordered the hummus, salad, and falafel as appetizers. All three were freshly prepared. The Hummus was flavorful and is some of the best I have ever tasted. My husband and daughter loved the falafel- my daughter kept saying they were "yummy." Considering my child is a picky eater- I was quite impressed. The appetizers were so plentiful that we were stuffed even before the main course arrived. We had shish kabobs, rice, spinach and meat pies. The spices on the shish kabobs were just perfect and the rice was flavorful. The waitress was very attentive to us the whole time and they made us feel comfortable even when my daughter was getting rowdy. That's always a big plus! All in all- we had no complaints and will definitely be returning soon. I can honestly say that Abu Raheed has made it into my "top five" list of best Middle Eastern restaurants!! Two thumbs way up!! Restaurant has an excellent variety of delicious foods. When I went there, I was welcomed by a friendly and helpful staff.

I went into Abu Rasheed today and ordered the Sahara Special! It was delicious, the chicken was amazing and seriously who ever says anything different has no idea what real shawarma or what real lebanese food is...because this place was great. The food was terrific and the waitress was the type that you hope to get when going to a restaurant. She was extremely helpful and was able to answer all our questions about the food. I love this place and will go back for sure.
