A disappointment. The calamari was the worst we've ever had. Soggy and greasy. We hardly ate any, but no one even asked why. Didn't like the shrimp bisque soup. The oysters and other fish was very good, but overall too expensive for the meal we got. The service was sub standard. I wouldn't go back.
Best Fish and Chips. Yes. The fish and chips really are that good. The fish is fried but still has that seafood flavor, unlike some places where all you taste is the batter and oil. The fish tacos are tasty too. The fish isn't overpowered by the other stuff in the taco. I also, appreciate that they are gluten-free and support sustainable fishing.
Oysters were the best!. Yes! We would go here again! My wife is newly diagnosed gluten-free. Corbett's tasty and sustainable seafood restaurant makes "gluten free" easy and delicious. I recommend the shrimp cocktail and a tall beer for a quick meal that's affordable and exceptional. We also had the halibut and oysters. The oysters were superb! The halibut was tender, but firm. Loved it.
Go Pack!. I have been here three times, and was pleased with each experience. The prices aren't exactly the cheapest, but if you don't want to spend a lot there are cheaper options available. The salmon burger was better than I expected. They fry everything in rice bran oil, which is supposedly healthier than the standard frying methods; anyway, it tastes pretty good. They also have a ton of gluten-free options, in case you are into that. And you can watch football there, in case you are into that. The employees have always been friendly to me. If I was rich I would go there often...
Bay Shrimp Caesar Salad. YUCK. The waitress could have at least offered to replace or refund it, since I barely touched it.
sucks. All of the portions were small (for eighty year olds), my tiny little pieces of cod were undercooked, salad was boring, fries were bland...."best fish and chips in the nation" 'worlds greatest fries"...bs.
The Best Fish & Chips EVA.
Catfish is amazing and now they have walking man IPA
I could eat there every day
Horrible Hipster Service.
We've been to Corbetts several times and always enjoyed the superb food. Last night we took a group there to celebrate my husbands birthday and although the food was still good, the service was excruciatingly bad. Our server ignored us and was super annoyed when we tried to flag her down for anything. Then to top off the evening she rudely accused us of underpaying which turned out to be untrue.
I'll think thrice before returning here.
Excellent Food!. The best Fish and Chips around, mainly because of the lack of grease!! Love it, the portions are good, the fries are ever so good. The fish tacos are ok, the salsa they put on are unique, but I personally dont think they go with the fish ensemble. Service is good, if its busy, it can be up to 25-30 min before your food arrives, but everything is made to order, so Its ok. They also have a happy hour we will be trying soon, we will be back!
Top Notch Oysters. Excellent oysters and healthy choices on the menu! All fried in rice oil. Yum. I also strongly suggest the oyster shooters and smoked salmon salad. All items are sustainable fishery stuff and yum, yum, yum!!
