In Short – This rowdy 23rd Avenue spot packs families and couples into two dining rooms decorated with terra-cotta floors, wooden booths and bright lighting. Starters include the antipasto platter piled high with spicy coppacola, fresh mozzarella, olives and green salad, or the caesar with lemony dressing. Plates like spaghetti with meatballs and rigatoni with ragu sauce are great standbys. Tortellini di festa with peas, prosciutto and Parmesan sauce or the rigatoni with butternut squash are also good choices.

Delicious Italian Food w/ LARGE portions!

My second trip to Pastini was as successful as my first visit. I had previously visited their Bridgeport location and this trip to their NW locale was just as satisfying. The menu items and attentive service exceeded my expectations. As a Portland newbie, I’m thrilled to discover an Italian restaurant that has the perfect ambience for both a family dinner, a business lunch or drinks and cocktails with friends on the weekend. Pastini definitely has combined all of these attributes into one restaurant, and the best thing about it is their multiple locations all around PDX! Our business lunch with a group of 5 started off by sampling a little bit of everything on the menu. We tried the Roasted Garlic-Artichoke Spread with Bruschetta for our appetizer, and it was 100% garlicky-Italian goodness. The food that was served was as good as if we were visiting a fine dining establishment – but for LESS than half the price! The portions were large, and I ended up boxing half of my delicious Linguine Pesto Pollo entrée to-go, to take as leftovers for dinner. Pastini is definitely one of the best, most versatile Italian Bistros in Portland and I would highly recommend taking friends, family and out-of-town guests to enjoy the dining experience!

Always reliable, tasty, hot, fast, and the best Gin and Tonic in town!

My husband would rather eat here than anyplace in town. It's always great, great service, hot meals, quick, and the best Gin and Tonic in town!!! And under $40 each time! Always great!
