Just selling the Aveda products that tame my rats nest is enough, but then Pure offers strengthening and mosturizing treatments. Sold.
Worst facial mani and pedi ever!. I purchased a Groupon package including a 50 min. facial, 20 minute eye treatment, mani and pedi. After 45 minutes, my entire facial was completed, and 40 min was spent on my mani and pedi. This was the worst mani and pedi I have EVER received. It looked like a child painted my nails. looked like Hillary was doing everything first time..I had to come home and remove the nail polish because most of my finger was painted, and it just peeled off, and finish polishing my nails. Her hands was shaking all the time. to much of what??? To charge $45 for a mani, and $60 for a spa pedi you would think you would get your money's worth. Putting a lot of oil on my face is not facial, take some classes first. I will NEVER, NEVER return to this salon again. What I think happened is because I purchased a package deal, they just decided to have one worker do all my services. Please don't ever let her do nails ever again. Clearly I was the her first. It was HORRIBLE. Don't offer a package deal and then not provide the services. Even though my services were discounted, I still feel as though I go ripped off. Do you guys know how to do good mani. and pedicure, not in crazy chair with my hands or foot in the bowl… helloooo we are in 21 CENTURY. PEOPLE DO NOT BUY PACKAGE DEAL FOR THIS PLACE… YOU WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED ….
Went to Pure today and the experience
was wonderful. The lady at the front desk was so professional and lovely when I called to make my appointment her voice was very pleasant and inviting unlike when Ive called other salons where they answer their phones sounding very gruff and aggressive. She made me want to come to the salon just by her presence on the phone.
My service with the hairstylist Mathew was one of the most enjoyable from the amazing shampoo scalp massage and the cut was on of the best ive ever had. Even though I dont live in town I will go to see Mathew when I come back to town. The spa service today was with Hillary and she did a great job The eye treatment she gave me was amazing. I would recommend this salon if you want great customer service and fantastic stylists.
Fabulous selection of products and even make up. It's a pretty, airy, lovely place. Owner behind the counter was a bit gruff, but whatever. Everything else is nice.
Horrible service. I purchase a 2 hour facial and massage for my husband's birthday. He received a 45 minute facial and 45 minute massage. He was shorted a full 1/2 hour. The women giving him the facial did not use Aveda products. The massage women only massaged his upper body. She did not massage his legs. He said the place was gross (unlike Dosha or other salons we have used). He said it is not a spa, it is a hair salon. The woman who gave him his facial, sat down to get a haircut before he even had the chance to leave (I guess that is why she shorted his time x 15 minutes). I am so disappointed. I feel completely ripped off.
My mom and I went to Pure on aTravelzoo certificate we purchased that was for a facial with an additional manicure and pedicure. From the very moment we entered I was so impressed with everything. We were promptly greeted and they offered us wonderful tea while we did our intake information, then we were brought upstairs for our services in their spa area. The room we were in was so nice it had an amazing skylight and candles glowed on the walls and there was this real surreal relaxing music that really was soothing. The actual facial was so nice i just loved the aromas of all the wonderful products they used. Because we requested it they were able to do my moms service and mine in the same room with two skin care people and I have to say they were both really lovely. My mom is somewhat older and needs a little extra help here and there and the staff was so very acommodating with her. She felt very relaxed too. I was very impressed with how much service we got on the special Travelzoo deal, sometimes salons will scrimp of the service with these specials but Pure did not in fact they way over delivered. I will definetly come back and I will readily refer anyone to try them out. Thank you everyone at Pure for making me and my moms day so special
Went to pure for the first time yesterday, on a reference of a friend who has curly hair - i myself have ethnic curly hair, sometimes frizzy and out of control. But to my surprise Chris wasn't afraid of the amount of hair I have and the shape that it was in. He welcomed me and we talked about the direction to take my hair in. He explained alot about the products for curly hair and how to maintain it and keep it under control. One of the best haircuts Ive ever had. Thank you Chris!!!!!
Waste of money.
Maybe if you pay full price you get the services promised but not with the Groupon.
The deal was a 50 min facial and 20 min eye treatment. My entire visit was 55 min, which included completing their paperwork, using the restroom, facial, eye treatment and product sales pitch. We started with the
Travelzoo experience was second rate. Can't speak to the type of service they provide when you pay full price, but the Travelzoo voucher I used for a facial/manicure/pedicure was a disappointing experience. The facial was in a room shared with another client also receiving a facial (okay, there was a curtain separating us, but come on!) and didn't even last the 50 minutes promised. The pedicure/manicure was totally utilitarian and not at all relaxing - we were in the same (shared) room, where I sat in a chair clearly not designed for those services, and received little to no massage. I think I could have scored a $50 facial at Dosha and a $35 dollar mani/pedi at my local nail salon, and been way happier than I was with the $89 I spent at Pure.

Horrible experience! Bad customer service!.
We had a horrible experience using a Groupon at Pure Salon and Spa. They apparently are running a similar deal on Travelzoo and although we made appointments for a Groupon spa package, and handed them Groupons when we came in, they proceeded to give us the Travelzoo deal (which was worth less $). We kept saying things like - "we didn't think this came with a pedicure" or "it is supposed to come with an eyebrow wax, wasn't it?" - and I even told my stylist that we had gotten the deal on Groupon - but it was only at the end that they realized they had messed up, and by this time they were about to close so there was no time to get the rest of our service(eyebrow wax, hair wash & blow out and 10$ worth of product )! Instead of being nice about it, the lady at the front desk acted like we were criminals. She offered us 2 options: pay for the pedicures that weren't part of the Groupon and come back some other time for the rest of the service we were supposed to get or accept the Travelzoo deal we had received. We were so disappointed - we had planned a big night out afterwards- that we just wanted to accept the Travelzoo deal we had received and leave (and never come back). But, then she started insisting that we pay for the pedicures and threatened to call the police twice. She would not let me explain we wanted to take the second choice she herself had offered us, and kept yelling at me. When I finally got her to understand that we were not trying to skip out but would just accept the Travelzoo thing (worth less $ than the groupon), she said I had 2 minutes to get out!!!
Horrible experience, horrible customer service.
