superior selection, friendly service often by Paul or Teri (owners). Finding a really special card or gift is easy, best selection for miles around & stock to suit every taste. They also stock outstanding art supplies, especially caligraphy pens & nibs at super prices.

Office supplies priced a little more than big box stores, but they offer small quantities & helpful advice- very handy. Grahams bookstore (upstairs) stocks northwest authors.

My favorite place for last minute gifts: the bags are cool enough to fold and serve for giftwrap!

High prices, poor customer service. While it's nice to "buy local" whenever possible, I'm not going to do it where the prices are considerably higher than other stores. Add into that the fact that the ladies who work at the store sit there like logs and will just stare right past you when you need assistance. The place is like a little coffeeklatch for the elderly residents of the neighborhood, but if you're under 60 and on a short time frame, don't waste your time - or your money - there.
