Is it just the high school keeping your
restaurant open?
Ha! I played a trick on my wife and told her to "Try the guacamole!" ..then laughed as she ran to the kitchen to spit it out into the trash can! She had to wash out her mouth too. (true story) Seriously, I would challenge the owner to try to choke down a side of his guacamole. Homemade salsa? I'm pretty sure this is cheap canned salsa with chopped green onion and cilantro added to make it look fresh. Santitas brand chips? Also, you know there are restaurant size 12" tortillas available for the $9 grande burrito instead of trying to use three 8 inch. And you could you warm or steam the tortillas before wrapping the burritos? I like a little veggies and maybe sour cream in my "get the most expensive burrito they have" order. There was less than a tablespoon of lettuce, tomato, or onion in the supposedly 2lb burrito. The chicken was flavorless. The side of Bandito rice is white rice with some green onion garnish.
I was trying to to avoid a chain restaurant and support local privately owned, but if you care this little about food, your shouldn't own a restaurant. Next time, I listen to my wife and buy Baja Fresh.…
More like Bandito dog food. I ordered a chicken enchilada, since I am allergic to beef. When I opened it, there was dark reddish brown very stringy meat in it. I went to the counter and asked the dark hair girl, "Are you sure this is chicken?" I did not want to be sick for days. She looked me right in the eye and said, "Yes that is red chicken." I threw it away. Next she was swabbing under the steam tray with a rag, which she then used to hold the old beans as she dumped them in the new beans; yes the rag got in the beans. We got some salsa, which is sometimes fermented, and took it home. I measured the temp. and it was 70.4 degrees F. I am going to call the manager. After that, the next person I call about that place will be the health department.…
Best Deal in Town on Sunday!. The staff is friendly, the food is inexpensive, it only took them a few seconds to make half a dozen tacos and they were all very good and even came with a side of salsa! I will definitely be back whenever I'm nearby.…
Best tacos EVER with speedy service, fresh, fast, delicious. This place is FANTASTIC!!!! I HIGHLY recommend it for whoever wants fresh, fast, delicious, and healthy mexican food. One slight correction to someone's review above. The tacos on Sunday are only 55 cents, not a dollar. They are the same quality as the tacos on the other days but for a cheaper price. If you haven't checked this place out, then you definitely should!…
Fresh & Yummy!. This place is great! It is family owned and the people are really nice - they won't rush you to order and will help you pick out what to eat (if you don't know or can't decide). They have a great menu and the prices are cheap. I love this place! I never have to wait more than a few minutes for my food and it is always fresh and delicious. I highly recommend it.…
