I just had one of the worst customer
experiences of my life. The aesthetician I met was extremely cold and rude to me. I was running late - my internet was down and I was trying to pull up GPS directions on my phone. I went to my calendar to write down the directions I had been given by the person who scheduled my appointment. I called to tell them I'd be late and why. I was told to come anyway, that it was a 5 minute procedure and it was no problem. On the way there, I called from I-5 to ask where the Scholls Ferry exit was (still no GPS). I was told it was on 217 - not what I'd been told initially. I took 217 and then followed directions, taking a RIGHT at the light. I was nervous about the directions, since they'd already been wrong, but when I called back, I got a message. Finally, my GPS kicked in and told me I was going the wrong way. I turned around and finally got to the place almost 20 min. late. The aesthetician was at the front desk and informed me that I was so late that she couldn't give me the test today. She said I could fill out the paperwork and come back. I explained that I was SO late because I had been given bad directions. She said it didn't matter, she was booked solid. I said, it's a 45 minute drive - an hour and a half round trip. She said that was too bad. I said, the receptionist told me to come in even though I was late. She said, we didn't know you'd be THIS LATE. All the way through, she spoke in a cold, unfriendly voice. It seemed to me she couldn't care less whether they had my business or not, and so, of course, they DON'T. I wouldn't go back to that office if the treatments were FREE. I didn't have time to waste today, but even more than that, I don't have time in my life to spend it with people that are clearly hostile to me. I will gladly spend my money elsewhere. Oh and by the way, this was a voucher appointment. I have plenty of money to spend on myself, but find that programs like Groupon give me the opportunity to find out about a company before I commit to spending thousands of dollars there. It cost me an hour and a half of my time to know that I will not spend a dime at Ultimate Tan and Spa in Tigard.
